The True Nature Of Forgiveness
What I have received from Spirit and my mentors about the nature of forgiveness is that it is first of all not about allowing bad behavior in others to continue. This is the most important thing to remember when we are ready to venture into our inner forgiveness journey.
If someone is continually wounding us through their actions or words, it is important to understand that the most loving thing we can do for ourselves and for the other person is to let them go. This may be a scary thing for some people, but to really release our pain we must release the source of the pain. Some situations are reconcilable through an honest reflection of the situation by both parties. However if this is not working, then lovingly releasing that person from your life will not only keep you from being hurt, it will allow you to open up space for relationships that bring value to your human journey. Connect With Your Passion
We have all read those inspiring quotes about finding your passion, and living your best life doing what you love. It is however sometimes not that easy for all of us to really know what we are meant to do. This is where psychic readings can be useful. An intuitive can often tell right away what a person would be good at or what would make them happy.
Life can become cluttered with negative emotions, such as worry, tension, fear, depression and anxiety. Ways To Identify Your Life Purpose
Are you struggling to find your own particular niche in this existence? Why did you come here? What is your life purpose? There are a many clues easily available to you if you care to look:
1. Ask at least ten people you know what they think your greatest strength is.
2. Write down all the things you love to do, even if it something bizarre like brushing hair, doing nails, walking the dog. Make yourself come up with at least twenty things you enjoy, then narrow those down to ten, and finally down to five. This will at least begin to give some insight into your interests and desires.
3. Ask yourself some basic questions like: do you prefer to work indoors or outdoors; if money were no object would you be doing what you are doing now; and do you prefer to work with people, animals or the environment? Your Child Deserves To Be Creative
Part of spiritual parenting is understanding your child’s generation. This is not “The Wonder Years”. The harsh reality is that even if you are protecting your child’s innocence, chances are their friend’s parents aren’t. These days we do need to ask the parents of our child’s friend if there is unsupervised time on the computer, and is there potential access to pornography, or even guns in the home. We need to go online and see if there are any predators in that home, or in the neighborhood. We need to know that there aren’t any drugs or alcohol in the home.
I have been working with children for 30 years and times have certainly changed. Today’s generation of parents cannot afford to be distracted, detached and oblivious. Modern parents text and talk on the phone more than they look at or communicate with their own children. I often hear people talk about how this generation of children seem tuned out, detached and lack imagination and creativity, but how can we ask them to tune in when their parents are not?
