Psychic Development 101
One of the most common misconceptions is that one needs to be “born” psychic to have the gift. The truth is we are all born with unique talents! However, like any other skill, practice is essential to honing and developing our psychic abilities.
There are many different kinds of psychic ability. Being able to discern future events, while usually thought of as a psychic’s bread and butter, is just one of these. For example, certain people may be able to telepathically communicate with animals, predict the weather, or have vivid dreams. If you are in doubt as to what your talent might be, think back to when you were small. Children are more psychically attuned than adults. Can you remember a time when you had a supernatural experience, or even more than one? This may very well be your gift. The Powerful Art Of Daydreaming
I was frequently reprimanded in my school years for daydreaming. My eyes would glaze over as I gazed into the distance, and I know it amused other kids in class!
Research has revealed that brain activity actually increases for the day-dreamer, and, as our minds drift aimlessly, we access problem-solving areas of our grey matter.
I learned too, that our intuition is our imagination, so as our mind wanders, we allow creativity and psychic impressions to be channeled through from our higher selves, or from our spirit helpers.
Next time you have a big project to deliver, you may be surprised at the improved results should you allow your mind rest in between intense periods of concentration. Simple Ways To Restore Daily Balance
Every day, I try to find balance in my life and put it into action, but sometimes it is hard to do. And sometimes it’s hard to see the whole picture of what you’re wanting to do, to have that sense of happiness and well-being in your life.
I find what works best to get me back on track is to center myself mentally first, before I take on any of the daily challenges of life. I admit that I often need a pop of the good old caffeine to get my mind and body going in the morning, but experience has taught me it is much more constructive to focus on something positive at that time. More Veggies, Less Soda
A healthy body is home to a happy soul. Growing up we were taught of the four basic food groups, but we never learned much more about healthy eating. Vegetables never played much of a role in my life.
I have faced challenges with my weight in recent years and it remains a daily challenge. Some of my clients have had it much worse and have been struggling since childhood. For them it has almost been like a ‘weight demon’ that has been attached to them all their lives.
