The Fifth Chakra
The fifth chakra, or Vishuddhi is located at the neck. It is symbolized by a silver crescent within a white circle, with 16 pale blue, or turquoise petals. The animal totem of the fifth chakra is the white elephant. The musical note that resonates with this chakra is “G”. It is considered the communication chakra and its color is blue.
The fifth chakra rules the shoulders (with the fourth chakra), as well as the neck, throat, vocal chords and esophagus. The corresponding gland is the thyroid. Foods to stimulate the fifth chakra include blueberries and water. Physically, Vishuddhi governs communication, emotionally it governs independence, mentally it governs fluent thought, and spiritually it governs a sense of security. Continue reading
The Abused Often Becomes The Abuser
I am still not sure why I tend to attract challenging, and sometimes negative personalities into my private space. Am I truly enabling others to give me this lesson over and over again?
I know that having the very experience of these negative souls in my space enables me to identify with the customers I read for. Many of my clients find themselves either in a similar situation, or in a situation whereby they love someone who doesn’t reciprocate their kind or encouraging ways.

How To Crystal Gaze
Many people are familiar with the popular culture idea of using a crystal ball for divination purposes, also known as the art of “scrying”. The truth is, this is an ancient art, and it’s not just about seeing the future! With some practice, anyone can use this unique and fascinating tool to gain insight into his or her life.
The first thing needed is the crystal itself. Clear quartz is a good choice for someone new to the art. As with any magical tool, use your instincts to select one that is right for you. A small one, no bigger than five inches in diameter, will work fine. Be sure to cleanse your crystal and smudge it of any negative energies before use. This will give you better results. Avoid Those Who Drain Your Energy
A man I spoke to recently told me he’d opted to be a loner, because people always wanted something from him. “People either want money from me, or they want to bend my ear with their problems,” he said.
I’ve noticed a significant increase in customers asking me lately just how they can go about protecting their energy fields. This tells me that individuals are becoming very aware of how they are being affected by others, who bring negativity into their home or work environment. They come home from work, not exhausted from labor, but from what is often called a “toxic work environment”. Most of us face a roller-coaster life. We have our ups and downs, our trials and tribulations. We sometimes feel tempted to say things we shouldn’t, and we are sometimes unable to put that chocolate chip cookie down when we know we should.
We live in a world where there are temptations all around us. That little voice in our head tells us to do it, when our intuition says it would hurt us. We are sometimes left conflicted and double-minded.
But when we have faith we act and speak wisely. Faith helps us to choose the path of wisdom and it instills insight. When we choose to think negatively, and turn away from faith, that is when obstacles enter into our life. Continue reading

One of the most common misconceptions is that one needs to be “born” psychic to have the gift. The truth is we are all born with unique talents! However, like any other skill, practice is essential to honing and developing our psychic abilities.
There are many different kinds of psychic ability. Being able to discern future events, while usually thought of as a psychic’s bread and butter, is just one of these. For example, certain people may be able to telepathically communicate with animals, predict the weather, or have vivid dreams. If you are in doubt as to what your talent might be, think back to when you were small. Children are more psychically attuned than adults. Can you remember a time when you had a supernatural experience, or even more than one? This may very well be your gift.
