I want you to know that you’re not the only one who may have people in your life draining you, and making you feel downright guilty and sick. This is what I call toxic love. Why do we stay with these people, or why do we continue to allow these people into our space and environment?

Successful Relationships Need Moments Of Solitude
I can’t tell you how many times I get calls from clients asking me to see why they are having communication issues with their husbands, wives, boyfriends and girlfriends. All kinds of miscommunication problems arise in love and romantic relationships, so I will go in and aim to pinpoint what it is that is causing them grief.
First, I always look to see if their other half is cheating. I also check to see if there is what I call a “love cord connection”, just to make sure there is soul growth to be had within the connection. How To Heal A Broken Heart
It can be very difficult to heal from a broken heart. It is no accident that there are so many sad songs written about lost love, and so many stories in magazines and on talk shows about failed love relationships. Many self-help experts proclaim they have the true answer to how to heal a broken heart.
I know from personal experience that it can be one of the hardest things in life to understand and overcome. When I had my heart broken, I used music in healing process, because I could relate what the song was about. Friends Or Lovers?
Many of my clients ask me if they should focus on the friendship aspect of their relationships if they want the relationship to go in the direction of marriage.
Does having a solid friendship foundation help, when you know that the person you just met can potentially be “the one” you will be spending the rest of your life with? Several people have told me how they jumped in with both feet, only to be let down later.
I always suggest trying to form a good friendship before taking it “undercover.” However, I also find that if the love cord connection is there, it sometimes doesn’t matter. I have seen with many clients that even they went straight to the ‘lovers mode’, before forming a good friendship, it didn’t affect the progression of their relationship. Continue reading
