A Little Bird’s Message Of Gratitude
Today, I drove into our small Spanish town to run a few errands and, for some reason, which I now feel could have been ‘guided’, I parked much further away from the center of town than was actually necessary.
Shortly after parking, then crossing the street, I found a young bird on the ground, which I thought, at first, had flown into a wall and injured itself. Rather than risk driving it home and traumatizing it further, I scooped it up. It appeared to be quite at ease perched on my hand on our fast walk to the vet, Salvador, whose office was just ten minutes away.
I felt strongly that this little bird had a spiritual message for me. As soon as I walked into Salvador’s practice, he smiled and said, “Very common this time of year. He is just getting his young flying practice and needs us to help give him a lift into flight from a height.” He offered to take him home, during his approaching siesta (afternoon recess) and to set him free from a hilltop. Solstice Forecast 2016
The most recent Solstice took place on June 20th, marked with a rare Full Moon in Sagittarius. This signifies the perfect time for us to become ‘archers’ and use focus, courage, and persistence in manifesting our biggest dreams and visions for the second half of 2016.
Since March this year, we have all been struck with spells of confusion, exhaustion and scattered energy. You can thank the intense solar flares, two eclipses, and the ongoing retrograde activity in Mercury, Mars, and now Neptune, for some of your most frustrating moments. This planetary non-movement has been forcing us to slow down, prioritize and reassess our lives, to rid it of anything that isn’t helping us grow. Look at it as a blessing in disguise!
Once Mars goes direct today, on June 30th, it will release a fire of emotions and aggressive energy which are going to increase as we move closer to November. With two Full Moons in Sagittarius, back to back, we are being given the opportunity to change our world by removing the old, outdated ways of existing and replacing it with fresh, forward thinking. The True Meaning Of Bliss
I have been contemplating how often a friend’s photo on social media, a call from a customer, an advertisement, the written word, or an overheard phrase has triggered a really significant memory for me. This was the case again last night, when the word “bliss” featured in a commercial for chocolate on my TV screen. For some reason this prompted a memory from many years ago.
I was working temporarily in a retirement home as a caregiver. Although I didn’t have long-term plans to remain in that job, I loved working with the old people, and used to give them reflexology treatments and healing massages in my free time. The short treatments gave them great relief, and they began asking if I would come back and help them again.
This caused a lot of animosity with the rest of the staff, who were already unfriendly towards me. They made it clear that I was not ‘one of them’. I was the outsider, and not from ‘their village.’ The home’s matron asked me to stop doing any healing or therapeutic work with the residents, because it was not in my job description. Abundance – There’s No Such Thing As Too Much!
Every one of us knows someone who seems to have it all. We probably secretly want this for ourselves, but when we think of “having it all,” we usually envision things such as homes, cars, and the like, in other words, physical things. Stop for a moment to think about when you last asked for spiritual abundance: meaningful relationships, internal balance, harmonious thoughts. All of this can be had if we are willing to ask our angels and guardian spirits, who look out for us in every way!
The universe itself is synonymous with abundance. It is designed to meet our needs in every way. Why are we not, then, getting what we need? It all starts with asking. A parent cannot know what his or her child needs until that child asks. It is absolutely necessary that we make our needs, along with our hopes and dreams, known. This is intent. Continue reading
Born To Be Psychic
What is it like to be born a psychic? The easy thing to say, that most will indeed say, is that it is both a gift and a curse. But that is such a broad statement. Personally, I have always loved being psychic.
I remember being three years old, when I knew that I saw and heard things which were not there. I would look at people and I would know things. I would know how they felt, in all senses of the word, and I would see colors around them, which told me how they were feeling physically.
I did not know what this was at the time. I just knew that when I saw a person with a certain color around them it meant they were feeling a certain way. I would try my best to avoid being around people that made me feel what they were feeling. But as an empath, I could not prevent these experiences. Continue reading
