Born To Be Psychic
What is it like to be born a psychic? The easy thing to say, that most will indeed say, is that it is both a gift and a curse. But that is such a broad statement. Personally, I have always loved being psychic.
I remember being three years old, when I knew that I saw and heard things which were not there. I would look at people and I would know things. I would know how they felt, in all senses of the word, and I would see colors around them, which told me how they were feeling physically.
I did not know what this was at the time. I just knew that when I saw a person with a certain color around them it meant they were feeling a certain way. I would try my best to avoid being around people that made me feel what they were feeling. But as an empath, I could not prevent these experiences.
It gets easier as you gain wisdom and maturity. I have been making my living as a professional astrologer, tarot reader and counselor for the past twenty years. I heeded when Spirit spoke to me and I still listen to that same voice now, even though in today’s world it can be very difficult to do so.
I have brought myself by long meditation to the conviction that a human being with a settled purpose must accomplish it, and that nothing can resist a will which will stake even existence upon its fulfillment – Benjamin Disraeli
Some of the things I have seen and heard over the years could easily have sent anyone else to a mental institution. My own mother actually tried to have me committed many years ago, when I started on this path and I had told her that the Angels called me to work for Spirit!
Connecting with Spirit is perhaps the best part of being psychic. Once you open yourself to Spirit for the greater good, you are forever changed. The feelings that come from within you tend to envelope you, and that travels to all those who are around you. This is part of the gift and a true blessing.
The curse is the flip side of the coin. While you are able to see the good in people and situations, you see the dark side too; the dark side that most people would rather ignore, yet some are as drawn to their dark side as a moth to a flame. When you bring that side out into the open you run the risk of being on the receiving end of the backlash.
Psychics are the mirrors through which others see themselves. But most don’t really wish to see their true selves, and if they don’t, then they are not going to like you, the psychic mirror, one little bit. You cannot help what you see, and you have to know when and how to say what you see. Messages have to be delivered carefully.
One isn’t necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can’t be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest – Maya Angelou
Being serene, for the psychic individual, means being in a constant state of vigilance. We have to protect our mind, body and spirit from those forces in the Universe that would try to destroy the Light.
Angels and Demons are truly everywhere. God is in the very air that we breathe on this earth. On the very ground that we so carelessly tread upon, and squander. Darkness is just a shadow created to fool us. The taller you walk, the less of a shadow you will cast.
If you meet a good reader, a genuine empath, a clairvoyant, a healer – be patient and loving towards them. They can add value to your life and give you great wisdom and guidance. But, as with all things, it is about free will.
Your life is all about your choices. As a Lightworker, I can only show you the door, and give you the light to make it through. The rest of what you do is up to you. Don’t ask me for the answers to questions that in your heart you already know the answer to. Spirit will only disappoint you should you do that. And please, don’t shoot the messenger!
