Abundance – There’s No Such Thing As Too Much!
Every one of us knows someone who seems to have it all. We probably secretly want this for ourselves, but when we think of “having it all,” we usually envision things such as homes, cars, and the like, in other words, physical things. Stop for a moment to think about when you last asked for spiritual abundance: meaningful relationships, internal balance, harmonious thoughts. All of this can be had if we are willing to ask our angels and guardian spirits, who look out for us in every way!
The universe itself is synonymous with abundance. It is designed to meet our needs in every way. Why are we not, then, getting what we need? It all starts with asking. A parent cannot know what his or her child needs until that child asks. It is absolutely necessary that we make our needs, along with our hopes and dreams, known. This is intent.
Expect your every need to be met. Expect the answer to every problem, expect abundance on every level ~ Eileen Caddy
Strange as it sounds, most of us are terribly afraid to put our intent out there. We might be afraid of what happens if we actually get what we request (fear of success) and things start looking up. Or, on the other hand, what if it’s not what we thought it would be, or there’s some additional steps required? Success and failure are two sides of the same coin. The universe wants what’s best for us, and sometimes we don’t always know what that is. Don’t think that the answer to a spiritual request will always come in the form you expect.
Some of us may think we lack the time needed to focus on abundance. That’s false! Look how much time we spend uselessly checking our phones, or watching TV. That time could just as easily be budgeted toward our spiritual lives. Or, on the other hand, we could have plenty of time, but be convinced that we don’t deserve the assistance of our angels. Wrong again – it is their very purpose to help us lead fulfilling and satisfying lives here on Earth.
Maybe we’re afraid that if we take too much for ourselves, we will be perceived as selfish or greedy. Think about this: we wouldn’t want to try and administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) without taking in big breaths of air first. We can’t possibly give to others without taking for ourselves first.
Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into ~ Wayne Dyer
Maybe the most difficult block to overcome is that terrible fear of being judged, or laughed at. This is a carry-over from childhood for so many people: we feel insignificant, small, and weak in the face of bullies, or authority figures. The Universe and our angels don’t work that way. They are listening 24/7, and they don’t judge us.
If we engage in a serious soul-searching exercise, it’s true that most of us have empty places in our hearts and souls. The Universe stands willing and ready to fill us with the love, wisdom, and understanding we all so desperately need. It’s important to take the time to consciously ask for those things and reflect upon what we need, more so than what we want. True abundance is about gratitude for what we have, as well as actively seeking what we need.
