Tomorrow the Taurus Full Moon eclipse marks the second lunar eclipse in two weeks, setting us up for a major energy shift and a new focus for the next six months. Because it occurs in Taurus, it presents us with a golden opportunity to devise new plans, strategies or goals to improve our financial prosperity and our physical and mental health well into the first quarter of 2023. Be wise and make good use of this energy influence.
Today and tomorrow’s Taurus Moon make for a productive start to the week, allowing us to address anything that’s been on the back burner or at the bottom of our to-do list.
Wednesday through Friday we’ll be spending more time than usual on the information highway, as the Gemini Moon encourages us to do research, develop new ideas, and reach out to collaborate with others. There’s power in numbers, so join forces with others to make the most progress.
If you currently have unresolved conflict or tension with a loved one, friend or relative, then the Gemini Moon trine with Saturn in Aquarius this Wednesday evening provides the ideal opportunity to have that talk and settle the matter. Spirit Guidance Requires Faith And Patience
I once received an apology call from a woman I hadn’t spoken to in over a decade. She wasn’t even sure I would accept her call. Many years ago, I predicted a new relationship for her that didn’t come to pass soon enough to her liking. She was extremely displeased and decided to ‘shoot the messenger.’ I did not hear from her again, until my prediction did prove accurate after all a decade later. She is now married to the man we were discussing at the time of her reading.
Another lady had been calling me for a while, then some things occurred in her love life in the short-term that did not please her. So, again, I was blamed for it and received no further calls. Then, six months later, she wrote to apologize. She also got married last week.
Then there’s the client that I told, “Do not go out with that guy, he’s trouble.” Yet, she still did. Two years later, she called to say, “You were right. Wish I had listened to you.”
See, when I do readings, I ask for wisdom, I pray for accuracy. I also set an intention for open-minded, sensible clients that really care about what spirit wants to communicate to them. I am fortunate that I usually have wonderful clients. Almost everyone one that I am sent to work with, understands the ways of spirit.
You see, in spirituality the journey is what truly matters, not the destination. The best things in life take time. Trusting spirit for guidance requires faith and patience. Divine timing and the divine order of things are not for us to determine or dictate.
Wyatt Earp, a legendary frontiersman of the American West, was known as the ‘fastest gun in the West.’ He famously said that being fast is great, but accuracy is much more important. Life is that way too. We often want life to move fast – quick-paced, rat-raced, constantly running to our goals! We seldom learn the lessons, have the fun, experience the growth, or enjoy the experiences we can have while steadily progressing towards the goal.

Today may start off feeling like it will be a blue Monday, with the Capricorn Moon conjunction with Pluto casting a gloomy, dispirited shadow this morning. This transit is notorious for making us feel moody and even depressed. Also avoid discussing your taxes or money issues with your partner this morning, as it could lead to an explosive argument!
Aim to keep your cool until mid-morning when the Capricorn Moon sextile with Jupiter in Pisces will improve our mood and open up new energies for business opportunities and money-making possibilities.
The Moon shifts into Aquarius later today and transit this constellation for the first three days of this week. With this aspect we can count on some changes in direction and new ways of thinking. We’ll have to guard against moving in rash ways or making steadfast decisions under this influence. However, we’ll be presented with some unusual ideas and opportunities we can put into practice in the near future.
Thursday and Friday unfold under a Pisces Moon, where our intuition and spiritual practices take center stage. Even without all the facts, we can move with our hearts and trust that Spirit is directing the traffic.
The weekend will most likely be our most productive part of the week, as the Moon travels through action-oriented Aries and will have us prepping for the change of season, attending to household repairs, or joining others in fun adventures. Whatever activities we decide to fill our weekend with, being a couch potato should ideally not be one of them.
Astrology Forecast October 24 – 30, 2022
Today’s Libra Moon sets the scene with an air of balance and harmony. The Libra Moon’s trine with Saturn in Aquarius this morning, as well as its conjunction with Mercury in Libra by midday, makes today an excellent time to conduct business, with productive meetings, effortless financial decisions and powerful sales presentations inspired by mental sharpness and sound judgment.
The highlights of this week are tomorrow’s Scorpio New Moon and a Solar Eclipse. The first of two eclipses (the second occurring in Taurus on November 8th), this celestial event opens the door to change, calling for us to go internal for a few weeks to look more closely at our feelings, our spiritual beliefs, and our intentions for the future.
The Moon will continue to wade through Scorpio on Wednesday, setting the tone for our spiritual transformation.
A lighter energy will prevail on Thursday and Friday as the Moon dances through fun-loving Sagittarius, encouraging us to embrace the festivities of Halloween and Samhain, the Celtic festival this holiday is named for.
Mercury will move into Scorpio on Saturday, turning our focus to all things spiritual and metaphysical for the next few weeks.
On Sunday, Mars, the planet of action and assertiveness, will turn retrograde and travel backward for the next two months. This planet typically only goes retrograde every other year, so this cycle will have us going back and reviewing our movements, actions, and dreams to make sure we are operating in the most effective and authentic ways possible.
The Psychic Power Of Crystals
I’ve been surrounded by crystals, both in my personal healing and psychic work, since I can remember. I wouldn’t call myself an expert on the subject, but I do know that these beautiful stones are aesthetically pleasing, and powerful to have around.
Many crystals have been given to me as gifts, and it’s as if the giver always knows exactly what I need in terms of what the gemstones or crystals can help me with.
When choosing crystals and stones for psychic work or energy healing, I simply allow them to ‘speak’ to me. The vibration of the ideal ones for every purpose always resonates with me. I simply allow them to ‘speak’ to me, trusting that their vibrations will call me. The actual color of the crystal or stone can have quite a profound effect on the mind. For example, medical patients are known to respond to the color blue, when it is used decoratively in a recuperative environment, and criminals are known to be calmer in a cell painted in very pale pink.
I also own a small collection of crystal balls, and it’s as if an image materializes in my mind when gazing into my crystal ball, as opposed to what I see in the actual crystal itself. You might say it is a third eye opener!
I surround myself with amethyst for the calm it brings, rose quartz to bring in loving energy, pyrite for psychic protection and various quartz crystals to assist me energetically, and just because I find them beautiful to behold.
My bone-throwing divination kit consists of a large collection of stones, each representing a token or a symbol. Each stone has its own story and can represent a significant meaning, person, animal or place to me.
Astrology Forecast October 17 – 23, 2022
The Sun is spending its last week in Libra, so keep your focus on love, relationships, and balance.
Today’s Cancer Half Moon could make us feel more sensitive than usual and cause arguments and interpersonal problems at work. So, it’s important to take everything with a grain of salt and don’t make it personal. Think carefully before you react.
Fortunately, the Cancer Moon trine with Neptune in Pisces will increase our levels of empathy, so tap into your caring side instead and try to understand the other person’s point of view, instead of overreacting and taking it personally.
Tomorrow and Wednesday the Moon will venture through Leo, inspiring us to be more generous and heart-based. We’ll be in the benevolent mood to give and share, but be careful not to ignore your own needs in the process.
Thursday through Saturday the Moon charges through Virgo, bringing out our penchant for organization and details. The only warning here is not to get caught up in ideals or become too nit-picky. Keep your eye on the bigger picture and do not sweat the small stuff!
Saturn turns direct on Saturday, ending its four-month retrograde period and calling for us to restore discipline and order to our schedules. Combined with the Virgo Moon, we may spend most of Saturday clearing out clutter, tossing out things that no longer serve us, or planning a new project.
The Sun will move into Scorpio on Sunday, followed closely by Venus. With these two planets in the sign of the Scorpion for the next four weeks, our love of the spiritual, the mysterious, and the unusual will seek expression.
Seeing Spirit Signs In Ordinary Things
Seeing see spirit signs and meaningful symbols in ordinary things is a common phenomenon among the spiritually aware. One way that many of us see such signs is by observing meaningful shapes or patterns in ordinary things.
As a child, while having breakfast, I would often see faces or animals in my eggs or oatmeal. I never gave it a second thought that other kids might not see what I did. It even became a game for me to count how many things I could see. And to this day, my morning cup of coffee or tea with cream often produces all sorts of wonderful shapes for my amusement.
In the fourth grade, while eating lunch at school one day, I asked the kids around me if anyone else also saw faces in their food. Two kids said yes, but most said they did not. The three of us who did see faces agreed to see how many more things we could see in this way, and report back our discoveries to each other. It created a special bond between us that lasted throughout our school years. To this day we still sometimes compare notes.
My sister and I also created a game of face counting while taking long car rides with our parents. We were only allowed to count the faces and animals we spotted on our side of the car. Once we reached our destination, the one with the highest count received a prize, which was usually a small trinket from the local department store.
Even my older sister, who does not believe in much that cannot be scientifically verified, sees chariots in the sky. To this day, at age 78, she will say, “Look! Do you see the chariots and horses in the clouds?’ Much to my chagrin, I have never been able to see it myself.
