The Little Things That Matter Most

click here for a free reading at PsychicAccess.comIt really is the little things in our daily lives that sometimes matter most. And we are often more likely to remember those things. One of the little things that can touch our hearts most are gestures by kind people, which I have experienced so much of these past few weeks. They can be any random act of kindness – or even an observation when we suddenly become aware of how much such little things really matter! We may pass by beautiful scenery a hundred times and never pay attention, until one day it suddenly strikes a deep cord with us.

Just yesterday, a client said something to me which moved me deeply. “I just want you to know that when you enter a room, your heart enters first,” she said. I pondered her words for quite a long time, and will now always remember how it affected me deeply. Also, I was struck by the way her words came as if from nowhere, and that during a psychic reading which should really have been all about her and her concerns. What for her might have been just a quick gesture of appreciation, mattered very much to me… and it always will be remembered.

Recently, this same lady told me about a beautiful butterfly which had appeared at her window during one of our readings. Knowing the profound transformation she had been going through, and the beautiful soul that she is, no wonder all of her helpers on the other side wanted her to be aware of their presence in her life at this challenging time.

A Life-Changing Ripple Effect

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comAfter a visit to the doctor a friend of mine was told she needed to be more active. Her job requires her to travel, so not a lot time to work out. Her office job also doesn’t offer a lot of opportunity for her to move around and get that much needed muscle activity going in her body.

After a reading with me she said she was motivated to change her lifestyle and do something she hadn’t even thought of before, but loved the idea of it so much she decided to “take action.” Pun intended.

Her plan was to start a group exercise class that incorporated Yoga and some light callisthenic exercises using a chair, for those who couldn’t stand long. Her aim was to make it appropriate for all age brackets and all levels of fitness, so that anyone could participate. The key was to move!

Near-Death Experiences Teach Us About Living

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comNear-death experiences have been in the public consciousness for some time now. The experience itself is rather universal across different cultures: a feeling of peace and serenity, as well as a glimpse of the world beyond, before returning to this life. Each of these experiences has a lesson to be learned for those still living, no matter who the survivor may be.

Maybe the most widely reported feeling by those who have had a near-death experience (NDE) is a renewed sense of purpose and meaning. A mundane life may lack these qualities (we think) until a brush with death reminds us why we live, and for whom – ourselves, our loved ones. Additionally, even those who previously said they were not spiritual may find themselves more drawn to the Divine and the mysteries of the Universe following a NDE.

Opal – The Powerful Seeing Jewel

click here now for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comOpal is known as the ‘seeing jewel.’ Its name originates from the Latin word opalus. I was told this by the owner of a beautiful crystal store in South Africa. Most Opal he said can be as much as 65 million years old! The stone contains a high percentage of water, which creates a play of color through light, and a sparkly phenomena.

Opal’s energy represents both the higher emotional body and higher mental body. This jewel adds light to the aura and helps to bring buried emotions to the surface. When I bought my first Opal from an interesting lady at a psychic fayre, she told me that the name originates from the Sanskrit writings and means ‘precious stone.’ It is amongst the most popular of stones sold throughout the ages.

The lady in question was from the Far East and said that in her culture Opal is a holy stone that holds the spirit of truth within. She added that the Greeks believed it provided protection from illness and the power of prophesy. She told me that Opal carries the energy of the Moon and water, and that it would enhance my psychic awareness. She also warned of its use in any rituals, because of its powerful energy.

We Are All Equally Spiritual

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comThere is so much terminology and discussion about what it means to be ‘spiritual.’ There are both religious and other esoteric practices that people use, and entire languages developed around spirituality. While I personally believe that much of this is good, it can also often lead to things like elitism and greater polarization of people and groups.

So, the question today is: what does it mean to be spiritual? The answer is far simpler than some might believe, simply because of the original meaning of the term ‘spirit.’

In the Western world much of our religious tradition comes from Greek or Hebrew esoteric writings. In Greek the term for spirit is pneuma, and in Hebrew it is ruach.  These are transliterations of the original words.

Calming The Stormy Waters Of The Inner Child

click photo for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI walk on the beach daily, near my home. In fact, I often walk multiple times a day. This is my meditative and contemplative time, to reflect and see what areas in my life I can improve or change, what areas are working well, and what shifts are going on.

In the morning, the water can be as smooth as glass. This represents true peace, clarity and reflection. In the afternoon, the water can have three-foot to ten-foot waves, and the beach space that was so abundant in the morning, is gone. This represents the turmoil that is happening in my life and on our planet, or just what comes and goes in the daily news.

In the evening, the water settles down. It’s not quite as glass-like as in the morning, however it has a small and calming wave. This represents all the cleansing that happened during the day and the cleansing that is to happen through the night, bringing me full circle to another calm again in the morning.

Finding Your Life Calling

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI have found that as ‘trends’ shift, so do the type of questions asked by clients during psychic readings. For example, lately many people have been asking about their life calling, and what they need to do to get there?

More people these days seem to feel they have not yet found their real ‘niche’ in life, whatever their age may be. I have been consulting especially with young people, in the final years of their studies, who call because they feel agitated about not having yet identified the direction of their career. I offer them guidance and suggestions, based on what vocations are given to me in their reading.

Sometimes though, it can simply be part of their life path to pursue various things before they are able to identify their calling. This I personally understand, because as much as I always felt the strong calling to work for Spirit, doing healing and readings, I now realize that everything else I ever did in-between, has given me a synergy of experience. This even includes my former ‘career’ as an alcoholic! Such experience has helped me to understand just what others might be going through.
