Are Your Loved Ones Sending You Signs?
Have you ever felt as if someone who has passed away was trying to reach out to you? Have you noticed any unusual signs? Maybe you suddenly caught a whiff of their favorite perfume? Or maybe a song you associate with them started playing when you were thinking of them.
Though these moments may seem insignificant or random, they could actually be signs from beyond. Yes, really. The people we love who have passed away are still with us. They’re energetically around us more than we realize, watching over us and cheering us on.
Sometimes they try to send us reassuring messages, but we don’t always pay attention. Life can get hectic. It’s easy to miss these signs when we’re busy with our daily routines.
But the signs are still there. We just need to slow down, take a breath, and open our hearts to noticing them.
Not everyone sends the same kind of sign, and not every spirit communicates in the same way. Some loved ones are very obvious. They might move items like coins or feathers for you to find, flicker lights, or send a butterfly or dragonfly right into your path.
Other signs might be more subtle. They might cue up a meaningful song for the two of you or make the number 11:11 appear repeatedly until you finally say, “Wait a minute…what’s up with that?”
These are all ways they’re saying, “Hey! I’m here. I’m okay. I see you. Are you okay? No need to worry; you’ll be just fine. I’m looking out for you.”
When Spirit Says Thank You From The Other Side
If you enjoy ghost stories that prove the existence of an afterlife and demonstrate spirit communication from beyond, you may be interested in the following account of a genuine supernatural event among my family and friends.
When he was younger, one of my cousins used to hang out with a group of friends who often got into harmless mischief. They were inseparable.
One of his closest friends eventually got married and lost his job soon after. Unfortunately, he quickly got into debt, his wife left him, and he had a very challenging relationship with his mother. His debts spiraled, he could not find a new job, and his wife showed no signs of wanting to reconcile.
The poor guy felt doomed, believing that life would never improve for him, no matter how hard he tried. Nothing changed, and things only got worse. Seeing no way out, he drove into the woods near his home one cold November night and ended his life.
I only wish I had had the opportunity to speak with him before he took this drastic step. I would have told him that life is too precious to contemplate such a thing. In fact, I emphasize to anyone considering suicide that they need to seek professional help immediately.
Nevertheless, it was too late to save my cousin’s dear friend.
He left a note for his friends, stating that he didn’t want his wife nor his mother at his funeral. He also asked that they sell the van in which he passed away to pay for the funeral, as he had no other means of funding it. Continue reading →
The Timeless Spirit Phenomenon Of Apports
The spirits of your departed loved ones sometimes interact with our physical environment to show they’re still nearby. They might move around objects in our home, like keys, books, or small decorations, especially ones that had personal meaning when they were alive.
It’s not uncommon to have a cherished object go missing from its usual spot, only to find it later in the most unlikely of places.
This kind of spirit activity often happens when we’re thinking of them, or during emotionally significant moments, as a way of offering comfort or making their presence known. It’s never random. It’s a gentle reminder that their energy hasn’t gone far.
I was about 20 years old when I experienced an in-depth, private sitting with a wonderful spiritualist medium known to me as Nan Lightfoot. My father had heard of her through the local spiritualist church, and as it turned out, she was an elderly lady who lived just two blocks from our house.
A warm friendship soon blossomed between us. I would help her with shopping and running errands whenever I could, until I eventually left England for many years.
After bringing in her shopping and putting it away, Nan would make us a cup of coffee. During our many conversations, she would occasionally offer wise advice channeled from her spirit guides. Often, right in the middle of an ordinary discussion, she would suddenly shift from speaking English into broad Welsh. These moments of Welsh chatter signaled that Nan was now channeling a message from one of her ancestral guides.
Echoes Of Love In Every Clasp And Chain
The jewelry we inherit is more valuable than it seems. A gold ring passed down from a grandmother, a locket that once rested against a mother’s pulse, or a watch that marked the minutes of a father’s days. Even after they’re gone, these objects keep on humming, full of loving memories.
It’s hard to explain to someone who hasn’t experienced loss, but wearing that old ring or putting on that familiar chain feels like stepping into another time and place. And for a second, you see them.
Maybe the piece fits your ring finger or wrist a bit differently than it did theirs, but it still connects the past with the present. Their jewelry isn’t just a piece of metal or stone; it’s a fingerprint, a story, a fragment of a laugh, a favorite saying captured in something lasting you can hold.
Some days, their jewelry and other personal belongings are a source of comfort. Other days, it serves as a stark reminder of heartache and loss. Either way, it shows that love isn’t just some fleeting thing.
Love lasts in the smallest details: the things that touched their skin and caught their scent. The soft click of a clasp. The nice weight of it against your collarbone.
They say you can’t take anything with you, but maybe that’s not the point. Maybe the real magic is in what’s left behind: a ring, a pendant, or a string of pearls. Little things that are full of love keep us connected to the people who matter most, even when they’re now on the other side.
When I was a little girl, my grandma used to let me wear her fake diamond earrings. They were the only piece of her jewelry she ever let me touch. I always had to give them back when playtime was over. It felt special, like she was letting me borrow a little piece of her magic. After she passed away, my mom gave me Grandma’s earrings.
The Fascinating Phenomenon Of Table Turning
Table turning, also known as “table tipping” or “table tilting,” is a fascinating form of spirit communication that occurs during séances.
It involves participants sitting around a table and placing their hands lightly on its surface to communicate with spirit. The table then moves or tilts, or in exceptional cases floats or rotates, in response to questions posed to spirit.
Table turning became popular in the mid-1800s, a time when Spiritualism was quickly gaining popularity in Europe and North America. People were intrigued by the idea of communicating with the afterlife, and séances became a common social activity.
People in those days didn’t have the resources or easy access to mediums and channelers that we have today. So, small groups of family and friends would gather and communicate with the spirit realm.
Table turning was also considered a wonderful way to entertain guests at social gatherings and was even considered a parlor game. Even President Lincoln’s wife, Mary Todd Lincoln, is said to have attended and even hosted séances at the White House.
Other well-known spiritualists of the time, such as the Laurie family and Nettie Colburn Maynard, reportedly attended séances with the Lincolns. Mrs. Lincoln was deeply interested in spiritualism and mediumship, especially after the deaths of her sons, Edward and later Willie.
From Skeptic To Believer In One Night!
As a child, I often eavesdropped on my parents’ heated arguments. Late one Saturday night, during one of these usual “ear-to-the-door” sessions, things seemed surprisingly less intense than usual. Instead of the customary shouting, I heard what sounded more like a lighthearted debate.
I could clearly hear my mother daring my father to “go with her” that Sunday night.
It wasn’t until years later that I learned the true nature of the dare. My mother had managed to persuade my father to accompany her to a spiritualist service in a London church.
To this day I am not sure how she managed to persuade him to go, but it turned out to be a life-changing experience for my father. I imagine it was also a great relief for my mother, who finally had a partner who shared her faith and passion.
Raised a Catholic and later a devout spiritualist, my mother often endured the ridicule of my father, who made fun of her faith in God and her beliefs about heaven and the afterlife.
But her dare marked the beginning of a significant change for him. While my father had never embraced organized religion or spirituality, he was about to have a profound spiritual awakening.
So, off they went. As “luck” would have it, Joseph Benjamin, a well-known spiritualist medium at the time, was one of the guest speakers at the church that weekend. My father later admitted that as he bundled up in his winter coat and scarf, he secretly hoped that he could make a quick getaway after the service and perhaps stop for a beer or two at his favorite local pub! A Premonition Dream Could Save Your Life!
While meditating one afternoon and deep in the alpha state, I heard a clairaudient voice say to me: “You need to get to work because someone needs the message you were given last night.”
I wasn’t feeling very social that day and definitely not in the mood to work, but the voice was crystal clear and very insistent.
I mentally asked the voice to show or tell me how and what this message could be? Almost immediately I saw my dream journal in my mind’s eye.
So I stopped the meditation session and went to get my dream journal from my nightstand. I always keep it handy, along with a clip-on night light, so I can record my dreams at any time.
Over the years, I’ve trained myself to recall significant dreams and write down as much as I can remember.
Keeping a dream journal has become incredibly valuable to me personally and in my psychic work. Dreams act as a bridge between the material world and the spirit realm, offering profound insights and guidance.
One of the greatest benefits of dream journaling is the ability to track ‘warning dreams,’ also known as premonition or precognitive dreams. These dreams are forebodings of future events, alerting us to potential dangers, challenges, or negative events that we may soon encounter in waking life.
