2019 – Year Of The Hanged Man And The Empress

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comIn Tarot, 2019 is the year of the Hanged Man: key card 12 (2+0+1+9=12) – letting go. It is also the year of the universal archetype of the Empress: key card 3 (1+2=3) – love with abundance.

Usually only one card is highlighted for a Tarot year, but I feel it’s important, if possible, to also reduce the year number to a single digit, to have the energy of both archetypes and vibrations. Also, in Numerology, the we are in a 3 year, which encompasses everything the Empress embodies.

Furthermore, this year’s numbers, 1, 2 and 3, is a message to live life more simply and to choose only the things that bring us love and beauty.

First, let’s look at how we can deepen our understanding of The Hanged Man’s energy to assist us in this New Year. His message is one of letting go, release, looking at things from a new perspective, a pause or sacrifice. In our lives we can look at what we need to release that may be holding us back in relationships, career, health, or our spiritual growth.

Getting ‘Unstuck’

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comOne of the things I love most about a Tarot reading is that it can show us where we have the power to make meaningful changes in our lives. We’ve all experienced those periods in our lives where we feel ‘stuck.’ We feel like we have no options and are, essentially, trapped by our circumstances. But very rarely is this actually the case.

In actuality, very often, when we are feeling trapped or stuck, it is because we are avoiding choices that will lead to changes in our lives. Change is unsettling at best, and downright scary at worst! As a result we tell ourselves that we can’t do this, or that, and we enforce this by coming up with all kinds of consequences that will arise if we do.

Sometimes of course, these consequences are legitimate. Other times they are far exaggerated by our imaginations. And perhaps the most powerful, sometimes the consequences are exactly what we need to experience.

Tarot And The Future

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comThe Tarot is a wonderful resource for gauging which direction we are heading in life. However, too often people seeking information will misunderstand the system. They want to know the future, but the Tarot does not create the future. The Tarot is a metaphysical tool and does not negate metaphysical laws. We can certainly see which direction we are headed in our lives, based on the insights the Tarot can provide. However, it is important to pay attention to the whole message that is coming through.

Rushing to the end of a Tarot reading is unwise, since there are often elements of change that are integral to the outcomes. I often explain it like this: the Tarot works in much the same way as a Global Positioning System (GPS). The end point will represent the coordinates that we either desire, or are currently headed toward. The other cards represent the path to get there. At times, the Tarot will provide directives that help us along the way. Just like with a GPS, we cannot expect to get to the right location if we are unwilling to follow the instructions necessary to get us to the right place.

Tarot Cards – The Minor Arcana

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comIt is said a picture is worth a thousand words. Images can convey meaning much more succinctly than words, and this is certainly true for me when I pull Minor Arcana cards in a Tarot reading.

The Minor Arcana are vividly descriptive cards which run the gamut of all human actions, feelings, thoughts, as well as the victories and losses we face every day in our lives. They typically represent short-term influences of the past, present and future.

A good reader, however, does not interpret Tarot cards only at face value. The imagery also triggers her intuition and clairvoyance to add details and answers to her querent’s question. The Astrological and Numerological aspects of the cards also show concrete detail. These cards can guide you and advise you through even the most difficult situations.

Oracle Cards As A Divination Tool

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comOracle cards are quite different from Tarot cards. They are easier and not as complex to read as the traditional Tarot, and there are a plethora of different oracle card decks available. Personally I own over 20 decks and I realize I have barely skimmed the surface of all of the versions available. To get started there are many reputable lists and rankings available online.

Oracle card creators represent different philosophies, traditions and belief systems, and therefore each deck is unique. Oracle card decks typically contain about 56 cards, or less. Each card has its own meaning. Oracle cards are typically prophetic and can be used for many different purposes.

I like to pull an oracle card every morning, just to give me an idea of the kind of day I will have. The nice thing about them is they do not need to be put in a specific spread the way one typically does when working with the Tarot. You can pull as many as you feel is best for you.

Tarot Cards And Toxic Relationships

click photo for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comIf intuition is the foundation for being a psychic, then divination tools are like putting on glasses to see the details. Tarot cards can reveal a person’s real intentions and provide a bigger picture into any situation that requires clarity.

When I use the Tarot for a love or relationship reading, I look for specific cards or combinations that show harmony or growth within the relationship or person. Here is a list of cards that typically catch my eye as major red flags, or signal that the connection between two people may be toxic.

The Magician

This card can be positive when surrounded by complimentary cards, but it can indicate that the person you’re interested may be charming… but manipulative. I often see this show up when someone only wants to do what they want, or when they want to be with multiple people. Continue reading

Tarot Court Cards And The People In Your Life

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comA psychic might use the Tarot as a tool to ‘fine tune’ into the direction of the energies she sees around you and your question. The court cards in Tarot typically represent the people and personality energies in your reading.

The querent may for example ask the psychic about a certain love interest, or a situation at work. The way I read is that I tune into the question and see a certain person, or people, but then I may also do a Tarot spread to gain more details about them.

If many of the cards in the reading are court cards, it generally means that your question is much more complicated by the energies and presence of other people. For example, if you are interested in a certain new man, I would tune into the guy clairvoyantly and maybe see a man who is very interested in you. This may seem like great news on the surface, but sensing other energies, I might then lay out a love Tarot spread… and lo and behold, there might be two Queens, a Knight, and several Pages influencing the situation!
