Meditation The Key To Mental Freedom
When we allow our minds to dwell too often on our past, or obsessively contemplate our future, we rob ourselves of the enjoyment of the moment.
Being fully present is the key to happiness. Being fully awake and aware of what is going on around us, in the here and now, is true mental freedom, in my opinion.
When I meditate, and focus only on my breath, I get to a point where I am free of thought. I can then completely allow all thoughts to come and go.. observed, but not noticed. It is then when I arrive at my “happy place”. I love to arrive at this inner place I so love. It’s a place of complete awareness, serenity and bliss; there really is nothing like it.
After my morning meditation I can go about the rest of my day without any ‘blinders’. The blinds to my mind have been pulled up and I can then connect with those that are on the same frequency as myself. Continue reading
Spiritual Awakening, Now What?
A few years ago, in the time leading up to 2012, I wrote a blog post about the symptoms of spiritual awakening. Well, here we are in 2014 and some of us are wondering what to do now?
Some of us feel as though we didn’t make it. Some of us are wondering if we made it, but don’t know it? Some feel as though they have awakened, but have hit a plateau and are unsure of what to do next.
All of these examples are types of plateaus we must face in our diverse journeys. I can only offer advice on what I have personally dealt with and come to embrace in my own.
Surround Yourself With Positive People
Some people have a smile, warmth and depth to them that is out of this world. These are the people you want to stay connected with.
Some people never evolve, but that is okay. Visualize them being away from you and being “great” somewhere else.
Some people think they are in kindergarten and, although they are adults now, they still play the game of “grapevine.” These people you can also wish away, to be “great” somewhere else.
Sometimes you’re lucky enough to find someone on the same frequency as yourself. Cherish and keep in touch with these lovely kindred folks. Continue reading
Is Your Partner Cheating?
In recent years I have been getting an increasing number of calls from married people wanting to know about another person they are interested in, or someone with whom they have been cheating on their spouse. In fact, I have several clients who are married, but are also dating and having sexual intimacy with people outside their marriage.
Interestingly, I get more calls from women than men who are cheating. Often times I see that the person they are having the affair with is much more compatible with them, compared to their current spouse. I never judge, my clients who call with such questions have always commented to me how they love how I don’t judge, or lecture them, or voice my personal opinion. I always treat my clients with the utmost respect and am blessed that they are calling me to get the best possible answers, insight and information I can possibly give. Continue reading
The Powerful Magic Of Being Authentic
If anyone were to ask me what the highlight of my life has been thus far, I would not even need a nanosecond to think about it. It is the easiest question I could ever answer. The most profound moment for me simply was the day I discovered the true power of authenticity. It was the day I discovered me.
Since that day, the quest for authenticity has completely altered my life. Like a Columbus of the heart, mind and soul I have hurled myself off the shores of my own fears and limiting beliefs, to venture far out into the uncharted territories of my inner truth in search of what it means to be genuine and at peace with who I really am. I have been abandoning the masquerade of living up to the expectations of others and have been exploring the new horizons of what it means to be truly and completely me, in all my amazing imperfection and most splendid insecurity. Why Do People Judge Others?
Why do people judge others? Have you ever walked down the street and someone would give you a weird look? Have you ever been in a store and someone would discuss you behind your back?
The reason I feel the need to be bring this up is because I get many calls on a daily basis where a client would tell me how someone has judged them or said something to hurt their feelings.
A week ago I had a caller who was upset, because the person who judged her believed that he can walk on water, and whatever he does in life… he is better than others. I felt bad for my client and I told her that she is better than what this man was telling her. He was trying to push her buttons. I feel when someone puts another person down by judging them, it is because they are trying to make themselves feel better. Continue reading
Guiding Earthbound Souls To The Light
Early one morning, I recently received a message from Judy, a client of mine, to say her close friend had been shot and killed before dawn that day. Judy wanted to know if I could try and communicate with her friend.
It was too soon for spirit communication of any kind, but later that morning I did try and connect as promised. I felt we were dealing with a soul who was stuck, not quite knowing where she was after such a sudden death. I told Judy that we needed to help her friend find her way to spirit, to the light.
I asked her to remotely assist me in helping her friend in order to guide her to the light; I made suggestions to Judy on how to go about this. I felt that Judy’s friend was temporarily earth bound and that our guidance and prayers would help her, even if she chose to remain close to loved ones for the time being and make her presence known, until they were able to find some peace with her sad passing.
