Becoming More Balanced
Do you ever feel the busier you become, the harder it is to remain focused and stay in control of everything? Then you are not, I promise you, alone! Sometimes life can seem like you are always juggling and struggling, but not always winning as a result.
As a professional psychic, I have always been of the opinion that if we want something to manifest in the material world we have to get the inside of ourselves, as well as our lifestyles, balanced and more harmonious first. Otherwise, we would simply attract more chaos!
By putting ourselves in a healthy, positive and balanced place, we not only draw more abundance to ourselves, but we also achieve a less stressful lifestyle as a result. Continue reading
Lunar Energy Can Enhance Your Life
The moon may have a somewhat modest appearance, but it has a strong influence, both physically and mentally, on us human beings. When the Moon is full, some people tend to experience poor sleep, for example, and children may be noisier than usual.
The Moon is a feminine energy and therefore she hides, shines, waxes and wanes, and we all sense her influence, be that on a conscious or an unconscious level. But one can dance to the tune of the Moon and so experience all the energy and harmony it can bring.
So, how exactly does the Moon have the effect that it does? Continue reading
Healing With Music And Sound
“Music hath charms to soothe the savage breast, to soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak,” wrote William Congreve in his classic poem, The Mourning Bride. He seems to have understood that music can soothe anyone who might be be stressed out, overwhelmed, anxious or depressed.
Studies indicate that music and sound heal us in a multitude of way, perhaps even at the cellular level. Long-term patients, nursing home residents, and chronically depressed people have been found to experience healing through sound.
Ancient cultures from Egypt to Japan to Australia used the secrets of healing sound. What these long-ago people instinctively knew, we now attribute to the effect of certain wavelengths upon our brains to calm, relax, and heal. As with acupuncture, these sounds may be able to reset our internal balances and remove negative energies. Continue reading
Healthy Boundaries – A Message From My Guides
It is okay to say no. As a matter of fact, it is imperative to learn to say no, and stick with it. We observe that many of you try to be all things to all people. You run yourselves ragged, physically and emotionally, trying to please other people.
You put others ahead of yourselves and then become frustrated and angry when you have no time left for your own personal lives. This is exhausting, stressful and becomes completely unrealistic over time.
The challenge in setting healthy personal boundaries often arises when it becomes difficult to prioritize your own needs and desires against the expectations of others. Since when do these people rule your roost? Since when are their expectations more valid or important than your own peace of mind, ideas or schedules? Why do you give them such power over your dreams, goals, ambitions and life? Continue reading
Want Only What You Need
I was busy getting ready to go out and feeling harried, as if what I had to do was so very important! But it was my perspective that was distorted and incorrect. Sensing this, I decided to sit down and take a moment. I wanted to get into alignment, before I got behind the wheel, as I had promised myself I would never rush in traffic. The rushed feeling triggered another feeling to put myself in check.
So, sitting down, I had a vision of my Grandpa. He came into focus for only a few seconds, but his visit to me seemed to last much longer. Time is different on the other side and we perceive it differently. Continue reading
The Highly Sensitive Person’s Survival Guide
Imagine for a moment that you have a radio, and instead of tuning in to a single stations, all of the stations are playing at once. That’s what life sometimes feels like to a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) – a designation coined by psychologist Dr. Elaine Aron, which indicates someone whose senses are more attuned than normal to the stimuli around them. The word “empath” is sometimes used to describe highly sensitive people, and other groups, such as those on the autism spectrum.
Aside from sealing themselves in soundproof rooms, or wrapping up in padded clothing, what can they do in a world which sometimes delivers sensory overload? It’s best for the HSP to avoid certain things and situations. Continue reading
Lessons In Love – Part 2
My guides have shared with me on many occasions how love is what changes it all. It is what can turn dis-ease into ease, and disease into healing.
We can choose to fill our minds and hearts with love and direct it outward to those who cause us discomfort, grief, strife and drain us. If we make the free will choice to do this, something begins to happen in our lives. Healing happens. Healing with our emotions. Our anxiety melts away. If someone drops their poison upon us with their negative comments, we can chose to return that with love and kindness.
It is absolutely not an easy thing to do at first, but once you’ve experienced the healing effect of filling your life, mind and heart with unconditional love, you won’t want to do it any other way in the future. Continue reading
