Dream Postcards From The Other Side
Recently, I had the most intense dreams and they were connected to a friend of mine who lives five thousand miles away across the globe. The dreams were random. I hadn’t been thinking of her prior to going to sleep, nor of her deceased loved ones, whom I had never met, or had only met a couple of times.
I once read an article that suggested such dreams are ‘asking for something’ and that there is a request in there somewhere for the dreamer to do something, or deliver something.
Quite frankly, I have passed on a few spirit messages to this particular friend over the years, and I always seem to do so with a little trepidation. Although it was never said, I always felt she possibly thought of me as being odd… and not very bright. Do You See Dead People?
That is one of the first things I ask people that take my psychic development class. When I first started my professional career as a psychic medium, people often asked me the same question. I used to be a little reluctant to answer.
Now, my quick reply is simply, “Why, yes I do.” Even though I am a medium, when they sometime appear in a place I’m not expecting the pleasure of their company, it can still startle me. The Unconditional Love Of Spirit
I have never promoted myself as a medium, however on occasion I do get messages from those whom have crossed over. Otherworldly Contact
My husband, daughter and I have been personally involved in removing harmful spirit entities and negative energy forces from people’s homes and businesses. Although some of these had been as terrifying as you could possibly imagine, there always was an element of excitement attached to it from our perspective. Luckily for us, we were maybe too foolhardy or arrogant at the time to comprehend the real dangers involved.
We sometimes had such a vast supply of puzzles and paradoxes to solve, that we thought at one time we may have reached our limit. Fortunately, not all spirit entities are dangerous. Some are completely benign and have seem to derive an inordinate amount of pleasure from sharing a co-existence with their human counterparts. My First Encounter With Spirit
In the summer of 1987, nearly a year after my parents died just a few days apart, I attended a mediumship evening at one of the spiritualist churches in Toronto. I had never been to a spiritualist church before, however, I had met a friend for lunch earlier in the day and she told me about the upcoming event that evening. Neither of us had ever heard of such a thing before. Unfortunately, my friend was unable to attend because she was on her way out of town, but I decided to give it a try on my own.
The church was located in a shopping plaza, on the second level, above a store. As I went up the very steep steps into parts unknown above, I was not only curious, but also quite skeptical. The room was already packed when I got there, so I sat right near the door, just in case these people started performing any weird rituals, or so other strange stuff. Our Time Of Passing
A very good friend passed away recently. She left behind five children, and each of them was questioning why they didn’t do more to help their mom prolong her life, despite the fact that this very loving soul was in pain most of the time and had an extremely lonely existence.
She no longer had what one might call a ‘good quality of life.’ But they have taken it upon themselves to hold one another responsible to keep her on this plane, when it was becoming increasingly clear she was so very prepared to leave.
We discussed the situation at length and some of the siblings were finally convinced their mother’s time of passing had very little to do with them. If they had no bearing as to when she entered the planet, why on earth would they have a say as to when she could leave? Continue reading
The African River Man
During the time of my ukuthwasa (period of initiation to become a traditional healer or sangoma) some decades ago in Southern Africa, my mentor and some other village elders would join our group of ithwasa (sangoma trainees) by the campfire and discuss other spirits. That is, others in addition to those of our ancestors.
We heard many tales of other spirits who control the rivers, oceans and lakes, as well as those who live in the sky and control the rain. There were also stories told of sacred places where spirits inhabited mountains, trees and rocks. I loved hearing those stories from various individuals whom have had unique experiences and felt they had seen and communicated with those various spirits. Continue reading
