Connecting With Deceased Loved Ones
When a loved one dies, it is never easy. It is always traumatic to lose someone who we have lived with, taken care of, loved and nurtured – be it a partner, spouse, parent, sibling, relative or friend. The feeling of them suddenly no longer being here can be devastating. Even their little quirks, which sometimes annoyed you when they were alive, is forever missed. We suddenly miss everything about them!
Thankfully, the spirit of those we love remain very much alive after their passing. Despite the ‘vehicle they drove around in,’ namely their physical body, may no longer be around, their spirit is still around. They can hear and see us, and they can feel our emotions.
I can tell you that when we call our loved one’s name, they are with us. When we pray for them, they appreciate it. Greatly. The two best things you can do is pray for your loved ones and say their name out loud. Continue to talk to them. And when you talk to them, they respond through sending you thoughts and signs. They also come to us in the dream state when we are sleeping. Write them a letter and put it under your pillow, and try to remember your astral travels the next day.
Your loved ones are never far from you. Love is the energy that keeps us connected with our loved ones. Sometimes they will give you a little visit. Remember to ask and you shall receive. Knock and that door will open.
Spirit Visits From The Other Side
We all have the ability to ‘tune in’ to spirit messages from our loved ones on the other side, without being a psychic or medium. Often spirit tries to get in touch, but we miss the moment. Or we get scared, because we don’t understand what is happening and then tend to dismiss it. Also, after losing a loved one we can be so overwhelmed with grief, that we do not notice the signs and messages that are meant to comfort us.
There are many creative ways in which spirit reaches out to us. One of the most common are dreams. Loved ones who have passed very often choose to either talk to us, or appear in our dreams. This is the easiest way for them to get through to us, and also the least scary way for us.
In dreams your loved one may appear more dazzling than when they were alive. For example, they may look younger, healthier, refreshed. This is because the veil that existed between their human self and what they are now, no longer exists.
If you have such a visitation dream, try to write down everything you can remember as soon as you wake up. This is real communication from the other side containing valuable information, which can be very helpful in your daily life.
Why Do Only Some Return In Spirit?
A few weeks ago, I was sitting in my usual chair, quietly reading a book, when I felt a soft pat on my hand. It did not feel in any way threatening or frightening. I could sense from the softness of the touch sensation, as well as the physical shape that was in my peripheral vision, that this certainly was a female presence. However, I could not decipher who it was at that time.
The next day, I received a message that it had been a visitation from my sister, Theresa, whom had recently passed on. I was so moved and honored that she came to me like this. How sweet and precious that moment was for me!
This experience led me to think about others that I had known in my lifetime. Some I loved deeply, while others I did not always care for as much… despite some of them being extremely prominent in my life.
My brother, Venard, who died a tragic death from drowning at the tender age of 12, had never left any of the remaining siblings for a moment… not until much, much later on in our lives. We all felt he had given us his solemn warmth and devotion, until he felt we were ready, even as middle-aged adults, to finally continue with life on our own.
The Ghost Who Warned Me
I moved into my first haunted house in 2005. I have communicated with beings from the other side since I was a child, but actually moving into a home where there was a spirit attachment, was a very different experience for me. I have also been in haunted houses before, but this time I was not able to just browse and leave – I was stuck in that house for a few months.
I was moving in with a family member, whom I knew had a lot of emotional issues, but who was also very sweet and wanting guidance and help from me. He was very attached to the house we were looking at renting. I told him right off the bat, “It’s haunted. Are you sure you want to move into a haunted house?” He asked me how I knew it was haunted, even though he knows I am psychic medium. I told him I could sense the presence. It wasn’t dark. It was male and it was associated directly with the house.
Despite all this, we moved in.
The night we moved in, I felt a presence hovering over me when I was sleeping… or should I say trying to sleep. The ghost said telepathically, “You brought darkness into my house. You need to get rid of it, or leave. I will help you get rid of it.” I was quite confused. I responded, “I am a light being. I’ve never caused harm to anyone. Why do you think I brought darkness here?” I did not get an answer.
Ghosts Are Real
Are ghosts real? I certainly know that they are, because I have come face-to-face with them during paranormal investigations. Many paranormal experts claim there is scientific evidence that they are real. Believers say that skeptics are not listening to what is in front of them, but skeptics say that any paranormal evidence likely has a rational explanation and that those who are chasing ghosts are fooling themselves. All I know I is this: I have seen ghosts right in front of me… standing there, looking right at me.
I have been to many haunted sites and sometimes ghosts can be downright nasty, not to be confused with spirits. Ghosts do not know that they are dead, and they can become very annoyed when you are in a house that they dwell in. In these cases you are the intruder. I have had objects thrown at me, heard voices telling me to get out. I always smudge myself with sage. I use it before and after an investigation so that nothing attaches to me.
The Departure Of Miss Emeylia
I have been receiving visitations from the very kind spirit of a lady for the past year and a half. Through automatic writing I was able to find out her name. Miss Emeylia.
She came by foot in her flight to freedom and was staying where I had found her, but ended up dying there decades and decades ago. There is the remainder of what was once an underground shelter in the basement of a popular restaurant, which I often frequented when I first saw and met her. She followed me home and has been here ever since.
I was finishing up doing a Tarot reading on the night before Halloween, before getting ready to do my Samhain ritual, when I caught a silhouette of Miss Em standing in the doorway of my living room. She was smiling at me and it looked like she had something to share, almost like she had a huge surprise or secret and was trying to keep it contained. She became more and more visible. She telepathically told me she was ready to move on. That she was ready to leave this place and go on to the next world.
Angels Are Everywhere
A few weeks ago I was out running some errands. At a red light I saw a homeless man with his sign. It looked professionally made and I thought to myself that someone must have made that sign for him? The words Homeless, God Bless, Donate If You Can were printed in perfect block letters.
I then intuited who made the signs for him. I saw that his daughter-in-law was making it for him. That led me to wonder why doesn’t he just live with his son and daughter-in-law? I have seen him on that corner before and always assumed he lived at a homeless mission, or under a bridge somewhere. But this time I remote viewed and saw him living by himself in what was a fairly nice apartment. I wondered then why he was saying he was homeless, if he had a nice apartment? Continue reading
