This Puzzling Phenomenon Of Apports
Many of us have experienced how items have mysteriously moved in our environment, only to reappear in the most unexpected of places. Often these are trinkets, like jewelry which have special links to a loved one. Crystals and other precious stones are sometimes also moved around by spirit.
Whatever the items, they are often the ‘calling cards’ of a deceased loved one or a specific spirit guide. This puzzling phenomenon of an object disappearing, and then materializing out of thin air, is known as an apport. Spiritualism was at the height of its popularity in the late 1800s. Thousands of séances were being held all over the Western world. Much was also documented about apports, or gifts from the spirits: shells, small trinkets, fossils, coins, feathers, flowers, and even items previously mislaid by the attending sitters suddenly appearing in front of them. My Daughter’s New Life Beyond This One
Recently our 48 year old daughter passed away*. Those of you who have experienced the death of a child will understand the depth of the grief and sorrow that parents are left with. All we can hope for now is that the sense of loss will eventually not be so deep and profound.
The physical cause of her death was the effects of her cancer treatments, however, the soul cause of her passing was because she could no longer sustain any kind of happiness in this existence.
Kathy was beautiful, highly intelligent and possessed a remarkable sharp wit. Yet, from a very young age she also appeared aloof and reserved. Curiously, she was often judged, and sometimes quite harshly, because of this particular quirk. Why anyone would choose to be offended by this trait is still a mystery to me. Those like her, with an extremely sensitive soul, will inherently create an environment for themselves simply to protect that fragile being from harm. A Message From A Dog To His Human
The following is a transcript of a reading I had the honor to recently channel for a client whose dog had passed:
“He wants you to know he is with you still. Imagine his arms made of Light lifting you up, and letting you know he is floating in a wonderful place and totally pain free.
He wants you to know that he is part of the energy of the Light beings. In the same way that your finger is an aspect of your body, but he is not your entire body, he is an aspect of the angels, although not entirely an angel on his own.
He was not always a dog, and is not a dog now. He came back as a dog this time around because there are certain lessons we have to learn on our Journeys, and it just so happened that the lessons he had to learn this time could best be learned not only in dog form, but with none other than you. From Skeptic To Believer In One Night
I must have been about ten years old when I often listened to the heated arguments my parents had. One late Saturday night, during one of my ’ear to the door’ sessions, things seemed less intense. I heard what sounded like a more lighthearted disagreement. I recall my mother daring my father to go out with her one Sunday night. It was several years later until I actually found out what the ‘dare’ was all about, but it was life changing for my father. Taking Pictures Of Orbs
Taking pictures might give you a better understanding of what kinds of orbs you might have in your house. It’s hard to see an orb with the naked eye. At times it might just be dust floating around in the sunlight, or a reflection. Taking pictures is far more constructive.
You don’t need a camera that costs a lot to take pictures of orbs. The cheap digital I often use cost only twenty dollars, and it also takes videos that I can download to the computer.
So, when you have your camera, where do you start? If you have animals watch their behavior to see if they act differently, for example when they keep looking up to the ceiling in a certain area of the house. Always have your camera nearby. Continue reading
My Latest Ghostly Encounters
After writing about the missing slipper, and seeing my father in spirit, it seems like more paranormal stuff has been happening around me, including seeing a ghost and smelling odd perfumes. But why?
It’s not like nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I had witnessed objects belonging to loved ones who have passed being replaced or moved around, or just disappear several times in the past. My latest ghostly encounter was something very different.
My wife and I has just arrived home, after a very long day running errands and going to the store to get some groceries. We were expecting a very cold spell, which was supposed to hit Ohio that day. It was supposed to last two days featuring below zero temperatures. Continue reading
Helping A Young Psychic Develop
A young person with a psychic gift must be recognized early on, and nurtured in their development. If not, they may experience a lot of confusion and even trauma. Their gift must be seen and experienced as a blessing, not a curse.
My niece Rachel was one of the more fortunate. She clearly had a gift from a very tender age. When she was a little girl I would give my brother and sister in-law some time off by babysitting Rachel and her older sister. Every time I would go over to their house to watch the kids, Rachel didn’t want me to read her normal children books. She would grab the family photo album and look specifically at old pictures of deceased family members. She would look at these photos with much interest and talk to the people in them as if they were sitting right in front of her. Continue reading
