How To Use The Psychomanteum
There are many ways to obtain the same result in spirit communication, as many roads will take you to the same destination. Using the psychomanteum is one way to reach out to the spirit world. It is a device to help a person communicate with the other side, including departed loved ones, pets and spirit guides. The prophet Nostradamus used a similar reflective device to experience out-of-body travels into the future as indicated in Dr. Raymond Moody’s book.
Typically, the psychomanteum is an enclosed structure or chamber made of black cloth or wood, with a chair on one side facing a mirror on the other side. Some people also use a red darkroom light. A person sits in the chair gazing into the mirror, while relaxing enough to achieve a light trance state. Strange Things In Strange Places
There are many places around the globe that often, for seemingly unexplained reasons, appear to have an amazing energy draw. One such township is in the beautiful setting of Fort Langley in British Columbia, Canada. People have been coming to this small area for many years and may be at a loss to explain why exactly they are compelled to visit this area time after time.
Aside from the fact there a number of antique shops and quaint stores in Fort Langley, there is also an air about the town that almost suggests a magic and a connection with times past, but not entirely forgotten. The town boasts many older Victorian homes and situated right on the main strip stands a majestic library that forces one’s eyes to be drawn in that direction as a matter of course. Connecting With Loved Ones Through Meditation
When we become silent within, we can enter into an alpha state that takes us into a deep meditative state. We don’t force thoughts out so much as just allow them to come and go. In this altered state of consciousness we connect with a higher frequency, one of complete bliss and sense of spiritual connection.
If we set an intention, while going into such a meditative state, we can have a ‘line in the water’ to connect with our loved ones who have crossed over. I have helped many clients connect with their loved ones after their passing. Table Tipping
Table tipping, also known as table-turning is a form of spirit communication during séances known as “physical phenomena.”
Table tipping became popular during the rise of the Spiritualist movement in the mid 1800s. It was consider a great way to entertain your guests at social gatherings, and was even considered to be a parlor game. Even President Lincoln and his wife Mary Todd Lincoln had such goings on in the White House. Many people of that era had neither the means or easy access to professional psychic mediums as we do today. Small groups of people, family and friends, would get together and try to communicate with the spirit world themselves. The Mysterious Man Who Followed Me
I kept seeing him. He would show up everywhere. I would be walking in the park and he would walk past me. Or I would be shopping at the supermarket, and he would appear between the isles… looking at me. He would appear to me walking on the sidewalk as I drove by. I even saw him the other day leaving the farmers market.
Do you ever experience seeing the same person over and over? You feel that they might be following you. It can get as creepy as feeling you have an actual stalker.
I finally realized who this person is just the other day, while talking with someone whom I haven’t seen in a long while. My friend shared with me that her boyfriend had died in a boating accident several months ago, while he was out fishing. Apparently she has also been seeing him. Creating Your Own Psychic Development Group
More and more spiritual seekers seem to be interested in joining forces with like-minded people these days. Some of my clients have expressed their interest in being part of a psychic development group, but they actually don’t know where to begin looking for such a gathering of souls.
The people I speak to come from all over the world, and so, it’s not that straightforward to recommend institutions or classes known to me. So, my suggestion is often, if you can’t find a suitable group in your area, why not start your own? A good way to start is with a few people and meet on a regular basis.
