Déjà Vu Comes From Alternate Dimensions
Have you ever had the feeling you have been somewhere before, or done something before? We all experience déjà vu from time to time. There are various scientific and spiritual theories for this phenomenon. Personally, I believe the answer can be found in alternate realities.
It is believed by some experts that there are an infinite number of dimensions existing in the same place at the same time. It is further believed that you and I are currently in the third dimension or density. And, it is believed that those other dimensions are on alternate timelines. Some are parallel to our timeline, some are ahead of ours, and some behind us. Some people even believe that for every major decision we make an alternate dimension is created in which we choose differently.
If you are wondering how these dimensions can exist in the same place at the same time, then consider a radio. I can tune in to a 100 different stations on a single radio, by simply changing the channel or frequency. The same holds true for dimensions. They exist on different frequencies. The Quantum – Moving From ‘Being’ To ‘Creating’
Quantum physics deals with the behavior of matter and energy on a minuscule scale – the scale of atoms and subatomic particles. Atoms are tiny force fields described as waves and research has shown that atoms can spread out to be in more than one place at one time.
In the quantum world, common sense is violated and has no place. On the quantum level atoms become fuzzy and erratic. Particles appear and disappear at random. Nothing is certain. In other words, atoms are like people – they are hard to predict with absolute certainty.
We are basically light and information – patterns of energy. At the quantum level there are infinite amounts of energy in a very, very small amount of time. The energy cannot be observed, so you don’t know what it is. It’s a place where miracles happen and all the possibilities come together. For example, if the atom were the size of a marble, and an electron the width of a hair, they would be two miles apart. Continue reading
The Longing To Connect To Source
Stress, whether it manifests as physical, emotional or spiritual, is a major factor in the depletion of our energy, resulting in us going out of balance. Meditation is a tried and trusted way of dealing with stress, raising energy and bringing balance. It is also favorable in achieving some other wonderful outcomes, including the direct experience of our connection to the unified field of intelligence, or “the void.”
The past two weeks have been considerably hectic for me, and I’ve missed my daily meditation. Meditation is instrumental in helping me feel aligned in body, mind and spirit for the kind of work I do, not to mention, assisting in dealing with the current chaos in my life! Continue reading
Ways To Improve Your Memory
I have been teaching memory classes for 15 years based on my practice of Yoga. There are many yogic techniques that can help improve and protect our memory.
The most powerful tool for memory is the spine. There is a spinal fluid that runs up the spine and feeds the brain. It brings oxygen, blood and nutrients to the brain. When the spine becomes restricted and tight, and is not properly stretched, worked and used, it restricts the flow of these nutrients to the brain. This causes memory loss.
I believe this is why many people who have had back injuries report to me that they also have noticed problems with their focus, concentration and memory. This is also why people who practice Yoga claim to have improved their focus, concentration and memory. The movement and strengthening of the spine is emphasized in Yoga. I also believe the movement in Yoga stimulates the Kundalini energy that moves up the spine, and that also improves memory. Continue reading
Effective Visualization Strategies
Visualization can be a wonderful tool for increasing the effectiveness we have in our daily lives. It allows us to align our intentions and emotions with what we desire, and keeps us focused on our goals. However, there is definitely some pitfalls to this particular practice.
Working in the metaphysical traditions, I have noticed that sometimes individuals mistake visualization for fantasy. Fantasy is not innately bad; for instance fantasy in the context of fiction it allows healthy down-time from our everyday lives. However, when we live in fantasy, and do not choose to align ourselves with reality, this fantasy life can often have unwanted consequences. Continue reading
Watch Your Tongue, For Less Is More
We all know individuals we sometimes wish had a zipper attached to their lips. You know, those people who constantly gossip and speak out of turn, with a tendency to go on, and on, and on? Some people just don’t seem to care if people view them disrespectfully, or are annoyed by their verbal outbursts or destructive communication. They just don’t care. Period.
I have some personal experiences that you might relate to. How about a family member around whom you always have to watch what you say. Everyone is constantly walking on egg shells, for fear of saying the wrong thing, because this person will take it as a personal attack. You dare say something out of line… and you open a can of blah-blah-blah! Some people truly feel the world revolves around them. They take life much to seriously. Continue reading
