Animal Spirits
Earlier this year my cat, Tigger, passed away after reaching the advanced age of 21. I had Tigger in my life since 1993 and he was more than a pet. He was like my son who was always there when I came home from work.
In the month leading up to his death I kept seeing his spirit leaving his body. What was weird is that I also kept seeing shadows of two cats that looked a lot like him.
Over the years I have seen several animal spirits of family pets that I grew up with. In these moments I could sometimes also hear different family members calling for the animals by name. One of the most common misconceptions is that one needs to be “born” psychic to have the gift. The truth is we are all born with unique talents! However, like any other skill, practice is essential to honing and developing our psychic abilities.
There are many different kinds of psychic ability. Being able to discern future events, while usually thought of as a psychic’s bread and butter, is just one of these. For example, certain people may be able to telepathically communicate with animals, predict the weather, or have vivid dreams. Lou’s Inspirational Story
A friend of a friend always felt a calling to do animal rescue work, and this calling beckoned her to a Swiss-based rescue group called City Dogs in Romania. She saw a picture of a dog named Lou on their website, fell in love with him and arranged for him to be transported from Romania to Switzerland.
There was something special about Lou, and people who have had that special soul connection with a pet will understand this.

My Method Of Healing Balance
We all have the ability to help and to heal others, but for some of us it’s a calling we are drawn to in this lifetime.
I have studied and applied various healing techniques during my working career as a healer. I have always felt that no matter which technique we use, be it hands on healing, massage, or Reiki, healing actually comes ‘through’ us. When we open ourselves up as channels our spirit helpers can send healing energy through us that frequently creates powerful shifts within the patient. Often it is also to the disbelief of some medical practitioners.
I’ve created my own healing ‘blend’ from the various modalities I have studied, and I like to call this Healing Balance. Healing Balance works with particular access points into the body – the 7 major chakras and the minor chakras located mainly at the joints. The Animal Psychic Connection
As any pet owner knows, we work to make sure our ‘babies’ are safely housed with a warm blanket and plenty of food. At least, this is how it is for me. My animals are my children and provide me with the most unconditional love and support I could ever ask for.
Pets are little people with fur. My Tinkerbell will be the first to tell you, in her ‘Auntie Mame’ sort of way, that she is only here because she loves her mommy so much. My boy Cricket would say that he likes to lie next to me when I am not feeling so good and he tries to take the pain away. And my Polly Pocket gets sick when I get sick. I have to muster up and climb myself out of bed so that my tiny Chihuahua won’t slip into a major depression! Continue reading
