Cats Among Us

Everyone enjoys companionship in some way, shape or form. One of my favorite sources is the domestic cat. I believe those of us who are “owned by cats” will live longer than those who live without at least one cat in their life.

Think of their versatility: home defense against small varmints, free earthquake alarm, lap warming, purr therapy, and so much more. However, the main reason why I love my two cats so much is their silent gift of unconditional love. Cats are very ritualistic. They tend to come to you when you need them the most. It’s almost like they can feel your energy, they just sense when you need a friend, and without a thought, they are there, to comfort, heal and love. When I go to bed every night, my cat always jumps up and sleeps near my head. Faithfully every night.

I have learned for myself I don’t need to spend money on an expensive trip to India to learn how to be more like the Buddhists. I learn from my cat. They say very little, but it seems they communicate very well telepathically. They are content to just be. It is because of my cat Maryella that I learned that “less is more.” She didn’t need much, she was just happy being, and to sit near me on the couch, or looking out the window for endless hours.

I feel cats are angels on Earth that live among us. They have a connection to the higher frequencies, maybe they are able to communicate with angels or even God. They are able to see things we cannot see. They are able to sense things before they happen. It is also said that all animals have this ability. That may be very true, I know many dog lovers that would agree, but cats to me are extra special.

When I get wrapped up in the day and finally get a chance to sit down and pet my cat, and just hear him purr, I quickly realize how this is very much one of the most sacred, relaxing, enjoyable parts of my day. Cats are so positive and relaxing to be around. If you have a cat, spend more time with it. I guarantee you will gain a gem of knowledge or wisdom. It may be nothing more than “silence is golden” or “less is more,” or it may be that “all you really need is love.”

Cat’s are not demanding, but I know or maybe I should say “feel” very good energy coming to me from them when I give them cold fresh clean water every day, feed them and make sure they have a clean  bathroom area. I know they appreciate it and it makes  them happy so it is something I look forward to doing each and every day.

Cats are very special in their own unique way. They know how to give love and express themselves in a loving way. If we were more like cats we would all experience heaven on Earth. We have learned to live with cats among us now. It is our lesson next to live like them, for peace to exist  here on this planet. Let’s look to our cats  for how to love and communicate with one another. It’s how the angels do it.
