The Blessing Of Divine Timing
We are often told to be patient. Patience means to slow down, take a moment to breathe and stop trying to force things to happen. Patience is allowing things to come in Divine timing.
When impatience takes over in your life, things become off-kilter. That’s when relationships break apart; jobs become unsettling, or they become impossible to find; money starts to dissipate. And all these things just cause more impatience, and more frustration.
When I tell you that someone will come into your life in Divine timing, it simply means that when you are able to be patient and let go of the edginess, the Universe will open the door an allow something or someone better to come into your life at the right time. This is all done on Divine timing – not yours, or mine. Continue reading
Wisdom From The Garden
As living beings having a human and earthly experience, we are bound by natural law. Natural law is simply the order of things and one of the primary natural laws is that things unfold over time. This law represents the seasonal dynamic of life.
Many times, people will have a desire, something that they would like to experience in relationships or within their career. I am confident that our desires are meant to be fulfilled, but it is important to understand that the fulfillment of our desires unfolds over time.
Just like a garden, it is crucial for us to recognize the process by which things come into being. I want tomatoes in my garden. So, I started some tomato plants from seed. When I planted the seeds, I trusted that they were growing. This is often the first step to manifesting. We must trust that the natural order is working in our favor. Continue reading
Living In The Past – A Message From My Guides
Some people inadvertently choose to live in the past. Usually their past is seen as a much simpler, happier time, with fewer challenges.
Some people had an idyllic childhood and they often wish they could return to that time of playful bliss, loving parents, guiding teachers and wonderful friends. But for others, the past is a horror-strewn path of destructive behavior, with insurmountable adult problems thrust upon them at a tender age. For them the past was a time of much emotional distance or cruelty at home. These memories are indelibly imprinted on the souls of the survivors, but with a much different feeling to be sure.
Although many can put their painful past in perspective, some relive those experiences day after day, harboring hatred and resentment. Continue reading
Connecting To Your Inner Guidance System
Let us suppose that we all come to this earthly plane with a suitcase full of gifts, talents and abilities. If we can find ourselves able to subscribe to this belief, what would be our next inkling?
First of all, what happens to this suitcase? Do we open it ourselves, wait for someone to come along and give us the combination that will release the contents, or perhaps we might just set it aside for future use?
Even if we undertake to open it immediately, does this secure our position? Allow me to give you a couple of examples in order that you might grasp how this all can work either for us, or against us. Continue reading
Freedom Of Thought
We can only evolve our awareness and experience of life through free thinking. Without it no advancement can be made in any field of thought. We would simply be stuck in the previous set of ideals and ideologies and perpetuating the experiences of the past. When we stay in these mindsets we give our power away to the past.
Albert Einstein once said, “Problems cannot be solved by the level of awareness that created them.” It is our freedom of thought that allows us to expand not only on the level of thought, but on the level of form as well.
I believe we live in an infinite universe that is constantly expanding. This is true cosmologically, but also experientially as human thought and consciousness progresses. Form is simply a result of this expansion. Continue reading
A Tale Of Two Wolves
As a child, I always enjoyed parables, and even in my middle years I still like listening to a story that has real meaning behind it. Recently, I discovered a fabulous story.
A young Cherokee child gets into an argument with one of his peers whom, until now, he felt he had been on good terms with but on this occasion, however, felt that the other boy had been most unjust to him.
In anger, the Cherokee boy runs off to seek advice from his wise grandfather, an elder of the Cherokee tribe, who loves teaching his grandchildren all about life. After telling his grandfather of his injustice, the old man wistfully looked at his grandson and said that he too, in his life, had similar experiences that resulted in him feeling great anger. “It is like there is a fight between two wolves going on inside you,” said the old man, “and indeed a terrible fight.” Continue reading
A Deeper Sense Of Spiritual Connection
Spirituality is unique to every individual. Some people experience an overwhelming feeling of the Divine within, while some do not get any feeling whatsoever. Many clients ask me how they can get closer to God, or connect with spirit, or even get that feeling of serene tranquility while meditating.
To experience a deeper sense of spiritual connection try one or more of the following strategies in your spiritual practice:
First of all, never get discouraged! Do not stop meditating just because to don’t feel a certain way. Don’t have a preconceived idea of what meditating should be like. Just being committed to the process and staying the moment is enough. Be present. Continue reading
