Tarot Cards And Toxic Relationships
If intuition is the foundation for being a psychic, then divination tools are like putting on glasses to see the details. Tarot cards can reveal a person’s real intentions and provide a bigger picture into any situation that requires clarity.
When I use the Tarot for a love or relationship reading, I look for specific cards or combinations that show harmony or growth within the relationship or person. Here is a list of cards that typically catch my eye as major red flags, or signal that the connection between two people may be toxic.
The Magician
This card can be positive when surrounded by complimentary cards, but it can indicate that the person you’re interested may be charming… but manipulative. I often see this show up when someone only wants to do what they want, or when they want to be with multiple people. Continue reading
What Makes A Man Fall In Love
What makes a man fall in love? Could it be the timing? Is it certain qualities that he is looking for? Or is it just basic chemistry? I believe it is the total package that you bring to the table – the way you make him feel and the happiness that you give him when your around him.
Men bond with women when they feel successful in making them happy. He is looking for a woman with a smile, someone he feels connected to. He wants to feel attraction and passion. He wants to feel accepted and appreciated by her. When he feels that he knows he can make you happy, he will want to be with you.
A man will also fall in love with you when he feels that you’re giving him signals that you are truly looking for lasting love. It is okay to be a little vulnerable around a man, letting him see who you are. Men want to feel that you believe he is worthy of love.
Men also want to fall in love with someone who is ready to share and be receptive to them. Sometimes men are not as confident as they would like to be, so the more open and confident you are will make it easier for him to respond to what you are looking for in a relationship.
When he spends time with you and sees that you are a kind person, affectionate, fun and easy-going, he will begin to realize exactly what you mean to him. Then he won’t want to be away from you. Continue reading
The Life Lesson Of Unconditional Love
I was talking to a friend one day about wedding vows. She is an articulate academic, and a really deep thinker when it comes to the breaking down of words and their more profound meaning. I asked her whether she honestly saw what was coming when her pastor recited the wedding vows ‘in sickness and in health’ and ‘for better or worse’ on the day of her wedding.
“No, I did not,” she replied. “I could never have imagined the turn our path together would take. And there were well-meaning people who warned me of what might lie ahead, and asked me if I knew what I was letting myself in for. But I loved him so much that I didn’t want to know. Besides, how would I have experienced those harsh, and lonely life lessons of living with a secret drinker if I had gone with my head instead of my heart. Not to mention the role played by ‘nature’s trap’… my hormones!” Continue reading
Healing With Rhodochrosite
A couple years ago, I experienced a series of setbacks and losses. My energy had reached a low point and I knew it was time to get back on track. A good friend told me about her experience using pink Rhodochrosite stones to alleviate emotional blockages and depression and suggested I try it too.
I took her suggestion and went down to my local esoteric shop the next day to pick out a beautiful stone that I could carry in my pocket throughout the day.
It didn’t take long for me to notice the effects of the Rhondochrosite stone energizing my sacral and heart chakras. A lot of compassion and acceptance replaced the fear and general anxiety. This crystal is often referred to as the “compassionate cheerleader,” because it helps dissolve old wounds and to reconnect with your inner child. Continue reading
The Egyptian Goddess Hathor
Hathor is an ancient Egyptian goddess representing healing, love, joy, and motherhood. She was known as the Mother of Mothers and the Celestial Nurse who presided over women, fertility, children, and childbirth.
However, Hathor is also associated with the dead, as we see in the tomb paintings where she was depicted as the Mistress of Heaven, welcoming the dead into the next life. Hathor’s connection to helping bring souls into the world through childbirth, and helping souls cross over to the land of Spirit, makes her a goddess who bridges together life, death, and Spirit, and her connection to the Great Mystery.
Hathor’s name translates to ‘House of Horus.’ Horus, is the son of the Egyptian Goddess Isis, also known by her Roman name, Auset or Iset, who is recognized for her psychic knowing, and her connection to the celestial skies and prophesy.
There is an Egyptian tale where seven Hathors are disguised as seven young women linked with fortune-telling and the Land of the Dead. They may have been associated with the Pleiades in later times. Hathor herself was known as Lady of Stars, in connection with the star, Sirius. Continue reading
Navigating A New Relationship
I believe today’s society has a backward approach on love and it is causing relationships to form quickly and then go nowhere.
It’s exciting when you first meet someone new who has the potential. Feelings become intensified and the possibilities become endless on where it could all go. The problem enters when both parties initially fail to get to know each other or ask the hard hitting questions in the beginning of the relationship.
Are they looking for a short term or long term commitment? Do they still have an attachment to someone else? Do they value and want a family? How well do they handle conflict? Am I able to be myself with this person? Will we be able to compromise on the bigger issues? Will they be a positive influence in my life? Continue reading
Signs You Might Be Overstressed
Almost all of us are under stress of some kind, whether it’s from work, family life, financial situations, or countless other sources. But how do when we know when it all gets to be too much?
Sadly, we tend to overlook the very real, physical signs our bodies give us, to let us know that the stress is all too much. If you’re experiencing one or more of these symptoms, it might be time to take a look at how to reduce stress levels and get your total health on track.
Pain in our bodies is probably the most obvious sign something is wrong, yet it tends to get ignored until it’s almost too late. Aches and pains, stomach issues, muscle tension, and heart palpitations are among the most common. Also, when we’re under stress, our sleep may suffer. Sleep is crucial to a person’s well-being, and if we’re not getting enough sleep (or too much) the entire body suffers as a result. Continue reading
