Not Everyone Chooses The Path Of Healing – Part 2
Being a Virgo, a healer and a seer, it can often times be very burdensome to remote view loved ones and see the terrible things going on in their lives, and not being able to go in and help them. I want to, but I know that not everyone wants to hear it, deal with it, or fix these problems. People don’t like to be told what is wrong in their lives and how to change it.

How To Heal A Broken Heart
It can be very difficult to heal from a broken heart. It is no accident that there are so many sad songs written about lost love, and so many stories in magazines and on talk shows about failed love relationships. Many self-help experts proclaim they have the true answer to how to heal a broken heart.
I know from personal experience that it can be one of the hardest things in life to understand and overcome. When I had my heart broken, I used music in healing process, because I could relate what the song was about. Learning To Know Joy In The Afterlife
Shortly after my father’s death in 2005, I started sitting in monthly mediumship circle with three friends. It was on our third gathering that my dad began the first of many communications from the wonderful world of spirit.
Energetically it seemed most appropriate, because one of our sitters had been my dad’s hospice nurse. How lucky I was during those final six months of my dad’s life, not only to have the wonderful support of this earth angel from hospice, but also to feel so connected to her through our interest in things of a psychic nature. The Gift Of Traumatic Life Experiences
It never ceases to amaze me how much I learn from clients every day. More and more clients also show me how they have found ‘the gift’ in their own personal challenges and heartbreak.
One of my clients had a very abusive childhood, and two subsequent abusive marriages. She told me recently how she wrote each of her ex-husbands a detailed letter. She thanked them for the gift they had given her; the growth she had experienced from the myriad of ‘not so happy experiences’ during her life journey with them. Was she playing the victim or merely expressing her anger to them? No, she absolutely meant it.
She also talked about more recent failed relationships and the many gifts derived from knowing deep rejection all the way through to sabotage. And now, finally, she has met a guy who appears to be her ideal mate – she is ready to surrender and enjoy the experience, wherever it takes her. Now she can enjoy the gift of shared love. Addiction And The Calling
If my spiritual calling was masked by addiction once upon time, how many other people could also be masking their calling with such escapism?
As a recovering alcoholic, addictive behavior is something I know all too well – together with the co-dependency behavior that inevitably surrounds the addict. I actually credit my experience with alcohol, and the realization that there is no escape that way, as leading up to me heeding my calling. My life purpose was to work for spirit, and any time not being in touch with that calling left a huge void, or ‘hole in my soul’ type of feeling within me.
My initial training into the mystical was in the African tradition, whereby one is selected by the ancestors and called to the task of healer, priest, counselor and diviner. Channeling and the ancient art of throwing and interpreting the bones are used as forms of divination in this tradition. Continue reading
