Using Stones To Heal – The A’s (Part 1)
Abalone
Although abalone is not a crystal, abalone shell has been used for centuries in jewelry and carvings. Abalone used as a bowl for sage and clearing can help to intensify the release of negative energy in a house or office. Abalone can calm emotions and bring a “watery” serene feeling to one’s energy or to a situation. Abalone brings the element and energy of the sea into any home it is displayed in. Water is healing, cleansing, mystical and sharpens intuition. Wearing abalone can help with developing psychic visions and intuition. Wearing abalone will also bring a sense of peace and calm to the person wearing it.

The Reality Of Illusion
Is illusion a reality? What do I even mean by “the reality of illusion?” I am not sure, so this will be a walk of discovery for both of us. Definitions of illusion includes concepts like “deception”, “fantasy”, “not real” or “to convey a false or misleading impression.” Reality on the other hand is defined a “the real thing” or “fact”, “a state or quality of being real” or an “actual thing”.
So the reality of illusion in my mind must mean that behind the smoke and mirrors of illusion there must be a reality base of some sort? Does this further mean that within the illusion of a lie there may be some truth? I think this bears some investigation, some form of discovery, don’t you? Continue reading
Rid Yourself Of Psychic ‘Junk’
Anyone who lives in a big city knows that space is at a premium these days. And that’s just elbow room. We seldom talk about our psychic space, which is constantly being bombarded. How in the world do we protect ourselves?
First and foremost, you need to have healthy boundaries. Each of us needs and deserves to have a safe place, a sense of self-worth, and protection from others. Think about what happens to a beach that is battered constantly by waves. It will wear down and eventually disappear. If you don’t have boundaries, your very identity will be like those grains of sand.
Learning to connect back to the Earth and nature is essential to our well-being. This can be as simple as walking without shoes in a natural space, or by keeping plants in your living space. When we are separate from our natural selves, we lose perhaps the most important part of our soul. By walking in nature, you are literally reconnecting. Like a lightning bolt discharging energy when it strikes solid ground, you are releasing all the negative energies that accumulate in your body. Take a friend, or walk your dog if you have one. The Quantum – Moving From ‘Being’ To ‘Creating’
Quantum physics deals with the behavior of matter and energy on a minuscule scale – the scale of atoms and subatomic particles. Atoms are tiny force fields described as waves and research has shown that atoms can spread out to be in more than one place at one time.
In the quantum world, common sense is violated and has no place. On the quantum level atoms become fuzzy and erratic. Particles appear and disappear at random. Nothing is certain. In other words, atoms are like people – they are hard to predict with absolute certainty.
We are basically light and information – patterns of energy. At the quantum level there are infinite amounts of energy in a very, very small amount of time. The energy cannot be observed, so you don’t know what it is. It’s a place where miracles happen and all the possibilities come together. For example, if the atom were the size of a marble, and an electron the width of a hair, they would be two miles apart. Continue reading
And This Too Shall Pass
It’s been ten weeks since I looked down the 30 meter drop to see the remains of our car, with my husband groaning inside. A neighbor and I arrived at the scene the same time as the local police. They had spotted the car whilst doing their routine rounds. I, on the other hand, had asked a neighbor to take me out to search for my husband.
My husband’s brief outing to a nearby store had become a four hour and seventeen minute nightmare. Our neighbor, James, today describes those moments as “surreal.” Words which have helped me through much less traumatic times came strongly to mind that day as I gazed down, unable to access my husband. It was as if spirit was whispering them into my thoughts once again: “and this too shall pass”. I have often used this mantra when experiencing depression or a setback in my life. I am fortunate to never have experienced the deeper pit of depression that so many souls struggle with in our times. Continue reading
The True Nature Of Forgiveness
What I have received from Spirit and my mentors about the nature of forgiveness is that it is first of all not about allowing bad behavior in others to continue. This is the most important thing to remember when we are ready to venture into our inner forgiveness journey.
If someone is continually wounding us through their actions or words, it is important to understand that the most loving thing we can do for ourselves and for the other person is to let them go. This may be a scary thing for some people, but to really release our pain we must release the source of the pain. Some situations are reconcilable through an honest reflection of the situation by both parties. However if this is not working, then lovingly releasing that person from your life will not only keep you from being hurt, it will allow you to open up space for relationships that bring value to your human journey.
