One of the first questions psychics and mediums are often asked in media interviews is, “At what age did you know you had this gift?” I don’t feel it is a gift that only a special few have. All people are born with the six senses. Most people just need to remember how to tune into their sixth sense, and not fear using all of their senses.
If a person is walking through the woods, and an animal is coming up behind them, they might feel the hair on the back of their neck stand up, or a prickly feeling on their arms to alert them that something is approaching. People don’t question how that works, they just accept that it is a sense they are born with. We come into this earthly existence to complete a task. This involves doing a job of some sort, which can be as basic as raising a family, establishing a corporation, or simply working in the fast food industry.
Some of us are extremely fortunate to know early on where our energy is best suited and how to meet our passion. Others may struggle for some time, until they find their own individual niche. But there are also those who never feel they have found their life purpose. Some do not even know what that seeking is all about.

When fictional characters, like Luke Skywalker in Star Wars, train to use their abilities, one of the first things their mentors, such as Yoda, tell them is that they must learn control. This is just as important to us as we use our own metaphysical abilities in the real world.
The first and foremost reason for this is that we have to use any psychic ability given to us for our own good, and that of others. If we use these abilities without mindful intent behind them, or with hostile intent, they can be very counter-productive.

One of the best ways to feel better about yourself, while making a difference, is to get involved in your community. So many worthy organizations need help year-round, even though the obvious time people think to give is during the holidays.
Think of the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program. You can certainly donate toys any time of year, or else participate in a fund-raiser in your area. Likewise for St. Jude’s Hospital, which provides medical care at no cost to children with life-threatening illnesses or injuries. If Money Were No Object
I have owned several businesses in my day, but they were not necessarily successful. Why do you think that is? Well, let’s look at some of the enterprises I started, and my reasons for doing so.
For example, I opened up a Goth and Punk fashion store with my daughter which, as you can imagine, catered mostly to young adults. That lasted about a year and a half before we went out of business. Next, I tried a psychic tea house with my two daughters. We offered lunch and snacks with beverages, and I read Tarot cards.
