A Sign From Apollo At The Delphic Oracle
Would you not do the same if you were going to visit the remains of the legendary sanctuary of Apollo at Delphi, Greece? Well, I did! I humbly requested a simple sign or personal omen from the god of light, truth and prophecy, while I was planning my recent European tour*. I knew for several months before I undertook this odyssey that Apollo would not disappoint, but ultimately I received much more than I had anticipated.
The renowned oracle who communicated Apollo’s messages to the people, and the priests who interpreted them, no longer ply their trade at this once glorious place, but Apollo has certainly not abandoned his remarkable temple. He still answers the call of mortals here, despite the fact that most of us now live in a world devoid of the mystical and the miraculous. Yes, he certainly does. I have proof.
The Mystery Of Mom’s Silverware Part II
At the time I was writing the first story about my mom’s silverware, I was trying to figure out what became of it. It cannot simply have disappeared? So, this time I did some research to see if other people also found that heirlooms would go missing that was handed down to them. And after talking to several people I came to the conclusion that for many of them items were also misplaced, or they had forgotten where the item used to be. Now, in my case we are talking about cheap silverware, not an expensive ring or ornament.
Where I live we have lots of farmland, but we also have many counties around us that offer festivals and fairs. Living out in the country it not as boring as one might think. There is one event my wife and I go to every year that has great food and many interesting vendors to browse, where you don’t mind spending money. As we were walking around, I noticed they had opened up an additional street, because the fair was bigger than previous years. Continue reading
Two Cards Short Of A Celtic Cross
I’ve written many blogs about psychic issues, spirituality, God, The Goddess, The Universe and so forth. The more answers I get the more questions arise. And I am always learning and being shown new ways, paths and messages. This is one of those messages.
We ask so often, “Why does this happen? What is the answer? Why did he hurt me?” I have at times also asked these questions, because I am human after all. Anything I teach I have learned the lesson myself – very often the hard way! But I have found that for many questions, ultimately, there are few answers. Because the answers we think we want can never truly satisfy us. Why am I bringing this up? Why am I talking about this and what am I even talking about, you may well ask. The Significance Of Numbers
There have been occasions when clients would call me and ask if I could predict the winning lottery numbers for them. Truth be told, if I had access to that kind of information I would not be doing psychic readings to make a living.
I believe numbers play a bigger part in our lives than we tend to realize. Lately, when I do psychic readings, I have started to see significant numbers. Since I use a normal deck of playing cards there is the numbers two through to ten, and at times I use the Aces as ‘one’ when I get a ‘flash’.
When I do a reading I often feel that my spirit guide is trying to tell me something specific, and when I look down at the cards I do see the numbers of the cards around the client’s spread. Then I read what the numbers are supposed to be. If we see a certain number over and over we need to pay attention. I feel that such numbers are trying to tell us something.
Numbers are an important part of our personal life history – from our birthdates to many other significant times and dates and even personal identification numbers. Continue reading
The Synchronicity Of Signs
Signs are everywhere, all around us, all the time. But paying attention to them, and actually knowing what to look for, is another matter entirely.
The most important thing in correctly reading the signs in your life is to become open to them. I don’t mean become open to what you want the particular answer to be.
Asking a Higher Power for signs means you leave your soul open to whatever the Higher Power chooses to show you, not only what you wish to see. You won’t see anything if you keep up that kind of thought process. It defeats Purpose, and Purpose can never be defeated. It is a losing battle if ever there was one. Continue reading
Pennies From Heaven
They say when an angel misses you, they toss a penny down from heaven. Sadly, not everyone knows how much truth there is in this old adage.
Spirit has many interesting ways to communicate with us, and always on a very personal level. Your spiritual signs and signals can range from the truly spectacular to the very mundane. And sometimes they can be found in the most unusual places, or when they are least expected. Two of the most commonly sighted phenomena are coins or ‘pennies’, as well as feathers. Depending on your personal belief system, these items are left around for us by loved ones, angels, or animal and spirit guides.
