Trusting Your Intuitions
Call them whatever you like – hunches, moments of grace, inklings – our intuitive feelings are usually right on the money. They take so many forms: dreams, feelings of déjà vu, sensations of a hand on our shoulder, hearing your name when no one is there. So why don’t we listen more often?
As spiritual beings we live in a world that tells us there should be a “rational” or “scientific” explanation for everything. Yet we’ve all heard the stories about the woman who didn’t board a plane, which later crashed, because of her intuition. Or a man who never plays the lottery and instinctively buys a ticket, which turns out to win. Liberty And Psychic Connection For All
I have been doing psychic readings for many years, and the one thing I am absolutely confident of is that all human beings have psychic or intuitive potential. This always brings up the question, “If all people are psychic, why would anyone need to go to a psychic?”
The best way to answer this question is to understand that there are three types of individuals that go to psychics.
The first type of individual goes to a psychic because they have insecurity about the future. Psychics And Mediums: What’s the Difference?
Many people automatically assume that psychics and mediums are one and the same. The truth is, all mediums are psychic, but not all psychics are mediums.
By definition, a psychic is any person with some form of extrasensory perception (ESP). ESP takes different forms and some psychics are gifted in more than one area. A medium, by contrast, is a very specific kind of psychic, someone who can communicate directly with the spirit realms.
For many reasons, psychics are sometimes viewed more skeptically than mediums by the average person. There is no “proven” way to tell if someone is psychic; everyone has some degree of psychic ability, but some are naturally more gifted than others. The Paranormal Mystery Of Psychic Sounds
I read once that it takes considerable energy for spirit to connect with us by means of sound. Right in the middle of a session at one of my last psychic circle gatherings, before I moved to another continent last year, the four of us heard a loud male voice outside the room.
Nobody else was home, but the girls immediately thought it was my husband, even though we hadn’t heard the obvious signs of an electric gate opening, nor his truck driving in. My interpretation was that the voice said: “Hello girls”. I immediately thought of my father who, since his passing in 2005 has been a regular visitor to our monthly psychic circle. Continue reading
Growing Up Psychic – Part 1
I was born into a psychic family who lived in a haunted home. I was unaware of this at first and knew nothing about mediumship, clairvoyance or the supernatural. But the quest for answers began at a young age. It was inevitable, since there was a lot of paranormal activity in our house and I had a natural curiosity about all things paranormal.
I didn’t know at the time about being gifted or communicating with ghost or spirits, but I did notice whenever I went over to a friend’s house that I could feel a difference in the energy at his house. It was nothing like what I experienced at my parents’ house. And when I went to both grandparents’ homes I could feel that something was trying to communicate with me there. The Sixth Chakra
The sixth chakra, or Ajna is located at the brow, right between the two physical eyes. It is symbolized by a lotus with two petals.
The animal totem of the sixth chakra is the black antelope or black panther. The musical note that resonates with this chakra is “A”. This is considered the intuition chakra and it is also referred to as the Third Eye.
It rules the sinuses, optic nerve, eyes, forehead and the frontal lobe of the brain. Its corresponding gland is the pineal gland.
The color for this chakra is a deep indigo. Foods to stimulate this chakra include Eggplant, blackberries, red cabbage.
Physically, Ajna deals with vision. Emotionally it deals with clarity on an intuitive level and mentally with visual consciousness. Spiritually it deals with compassion, empathy, foresight and psychic ability. Empaths, mediums, psychics, and intuitives usually have a very developed and open sixth chakra. Continue reading
Remote Viewing – Seeing From Afar
One of the many different forms of psychic ability is that of remote viewing (RV). Simply put, this ability allows us to see things or events that exist across time and space. In some ways, it is like watching a television, or listening to a radio thousands of miles away.
But how exactly does it work? The truth is, no one knows for sure. Much like dreams, RV is a way for us to cross the normal boundaries of perception and expand ourselves psychically.
Unlike its cousins, such as out-of-body experiences (OBE), dream walking, or deep hypnosis, RV is done while fully awake and conscious. Some say it is similar to astral projection. The phenomenon has been around since ancient Greece, and in more modern times various military groups and the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) have used it strategically, such as seen in the popular film, The Men Who Stare at Goats.
