Understanding Psychic Readings – The Clair Senses
The most commonly known and used ‘clair sense’ in psychic and spiritual circles is clairvoyance. This particular gift is very common in individuals that have a specific soul mission to use their psychic gift predominately for readings. It has even become a universal term that often includes the other clair gifts.
The term “clairvoyant” comes from the French clair, meaning clear (from the Latin clarus), and voyant, the present participle of voir, meaning to see (from the Latin videre)*.

Seven Types Of Psychic Ability
In the psychic world we often refer to the seven “clairs” when discussing psychic abilities. “Clair” is French for “clear.” In the mortal, mundane world, we receive messages via text, email, or in person all the time. In the psychic realm there are almost infinite numbers of ways to send and receive messages, and if you’re gifted with one of the “clairs” as some people are, you will know this.
While we as humans only have five senses, there are believed to be seven basic types of psychic ability: clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairaudience, clairtangency, clairscent, clairgustance, and claircognizance.

Psychic Development 101
One of the most common misconceptions is that one needs to be “born” psychic to have the gift. The truth is we are all born with unique talents! However, like any other skill, practice is essential to honing and developing our psychic abilities.
There are many different kinds of psychic ability. Being able to discern future events, while usually thought of as a psychic’s bread and butter, is just one of these. For example, certain people may be able to telepathically communicate with animals, predict the weather, or have vivid dreams. If you are in doubt as to what your talent might be, think back to when you were small. Children are more psychically attuned than adults. Can you remember a time when you had a supernatural experience, or even more than one? This may very well be your gift. Reading Between The Lines
Growing up in a family of psychics, I can remember my mother telling me that in life we have to always “read between the lines.” What she meant was that life has much to offer us, from relationship to career to recreation. To make the best life choices we need to look out for opportunities presented to us in the form of signs and synchronicity.

What It Means To Be Psychic
The word “psychic” gets tossed around a good deal in today’s world. Most people, when asked, would say that a psychic is a person who sees the future, or is able to connect with spirits. The truth is, it’s not quite so simple, but everyone is born with psychic abilities.
Psychic ability is the ability to interface with realms beyond the everyday. There are as many ways to connect psychically as there are realms! It may seem daunting at first to try and find your special gift or gifts. The best start you can make is to find a mentor. Remember when you learned baseball or piano? We All Have Precognitive Dreams
Many people would tell you they’ve had a precognitive dream at some point in their lives. In short, this means a dream that has shown a part of the future. Literature, myth and history are full of such dreams, from antiquity to the sinking of the Titanic. But how much truth is there to the idea of dreaming the future?
Researchers propose that over half of the population regularly has precognitive dreams. The problem is, we also forget the vast majority of dreams within a minute or two of waking. It is an ability that has to be practiced and refined just like any other.
Anyone who is serious about dreams will keep a journal. It’s best to keep the journal right next to the bed in order to record the dreams as soon as possible. After time, a journal will help you start to see patterns, images and recurring symbols within your dreams. Think of how a large jigsaw puzzle at first seems random. Text Messages From God – Part 2
After meditating for two days, I received another ‘text message’ from God to answer a question I have had for a while. I have shared with my clients how they can open up and allow their psychic ability to flourish, as I believe we all have the ability to feel and see things that will come to pass. With pen and paper near me I wrote down the following.
1. Sleep/Dreams/Record
2. Spend time in solitude
3. Keep away from those who deplete you energetically
4. Moonstones
