Intuition – The Unconscious Language Of The Soul
Primitive man greatly relied on his intuition, because he thought in images and symbols, and listened to his ‘inner voice’ and trusted his ‘gut’. Early man fluently spoke the language of the intuitive mind, the language of his spiritual origins.
Man is born intuitive, because man is of spiritual origin. Intuition is the earthly language of Spirit and it transcends the limitations of this time-space dimension.
Some scientists argue that intuition is merely an aspect of our normal human intelligence developed out of primitive man’s animalistic survival instincts. The concepts of “relying on your instincts” and “following your intuition” is therefore often used inter-changeably or in the same context. A Flame From The Afterlife
There are many different ways our loved ones come back to show us that they are watching over us from the other side. I have to share one of the most wonderful stories I was told of a sign from beyond that re-affirms one’s faith in the afterlife.
Paul and his buddy Steve would always go fishing when he was alive and they always enjoyed each other’s company. They would look forward to those days when they could escape to the nearest lake, put a line in the water and just forget all about life’s troubles and routine.
Eight years after Steve passed away, Paul went out fishing again to one of their favorite fishing spots. When he opened his tackle box he spotted an old cigarette lighter that Steve had given him back in the early 90’s. It never really worked back then; it was one of those cheap lighters and it leaked. Grandma’s Phone Call From The Afterlife
One of my best friends had a really beautiful metaphysical experience. We were talking recently about what I do for a living and how she always used to joke around when I would give her a Tarot reading, or talk to her about the afterlife and all things paranormal.
We would go to a huge cemetery close to where I used to live and take pictures and capture orbs with wonderful mazes in the them. They were really great, because at times we would even capture faces in these orbs. Then my friend finally told me why she called and wanted to meet me for coffee.
I had told her a long time ago how spirits can communicate with us through electronics and technology. She said that when her grandma died she kept her phone number on her contact list. There was a reason for this. She had mentioned to her Grandma when she was alive that if she could make contact with her from the other side, to do it by way of the phone. Do Not Fill Your World With Loneliness
Are you lonely? We all experience times when we actually choose to have some ‘alone time’, but loneliness is not the same as choosing to be alone. Loneliness is being alone, but feeling saddened by it.
My husband is currently in hospital here in Spain and I am in awe of the number of family and friends constantly visiting patients in hospital here. This is encouraged by the doctors as the best aid in speeding up healing. They must know that loneliness is a response to the need to belong. Interpersonal relationships give us emotional health and the basic need to belong is as fundamental as the need to breathe, sleep or eat. Continue reading
Your Child Deserves To Be Creative
Part of spiritual parenting is understanding your child’s generation. This is not “The Wonder Years”. The harsh reality is that even if you are protecting your child’s innocence, chances are their friend’s parents aren’t. These days we do need to ask the parents of our child’s friend if there is unsupervised time on the computer, and is there potential access to pornography, or even guns in the home. We need to go online and see if there are any predators in that home, or in the neighborhood. We need to know that there aren’t any drugs or alcohol in the home.
I have been working with children for 30 years and times have certainly changed. Today’s generation of parents cannot afford to be distracted, detached and oblivious. Modern parents text and talk on the phone more than they look at or communicate with their own children. I often hear people talk about how this generation of children seem tuned out, detached and lack imagination and creativity, but how can we ask them to tune in when their parents are not? They learn their coping and survival skills from us. If we tune out, so will they. Continue reading

The Haunted Pickup Truck
After a difficult divorce in 1999, I lost my pick-up truck in the settlement. I needed new, affordable transportation. Fortunately my stepbrother knew this guy that had an old Dodge for sale at a really good price. But when I saw it, I had a bad feeling about this car.
I was however very desperate to get a car, so after taking it for a test drive, I convinced myself it was only my imagination that something was wrong. So pretty soon I was driving my new car on Route 270 heading home. Then the paranormal activity started. Driving along slowly, the material from the ceiling of the car came detached. My son Raymond was in the back seat, and he looked at me with big eyes and said, “Dad, why is that man pulling the stuff off the ceiling?” Continue reading
