Patience Is The Key To Building Bridges
New relationships are not easy. Building that bridge between yourself and another person might get confusing, because of the past. When two people meet for the first time it can be very exciting for them both, and they will most likely have that ‘glow’ that is so bright around them. You can usually see a change both of them.
But as time goes by, it sometimes happens that one person begins to pull away, or pushes the other person away, because of their fears. They become anxious that what had happened to them in the past, might happen to them today. False hopes and broken promises are part of the baggage most of us carry into new relationships. Make Your Life Better Today!
Have you ever thought what you could have done differently today? So many of us follow the same routine. We get up at the same time every morning, go to work, take the same route coming home and tomorrow it all repeats itself again.
I notice that in my own life that since I retired I have become set in the same routines and patterns. I am stuck in a groove and most days it is hard to break away.
But we do have the opportunity to at least do something now and then to make the world a better place. Not only will you be adding value to the lives of others, but you will also add some color to your own. Continue reading
Letter To My Daughter
This is a letter to my daughter – if I had one, that is. But I don’t. So, this letter is to her, the daughter I might have had, and also to those young ladies I have known over the years who I have felt were like daughters to me.
My daughter’s name would have been Chantal-Marie, should she have been born. I suppose I could have had her, but life took its course and time slipped away. I was too busy mothering myself, I think, and I couldn’t have mothered her, in retrospect. But hindsight isn’t always 20:20 – don’t let anyone fool you.
So here goes. Strangely enough, I feel as though I were on the edge of a precipice as I write this. It is a most unexpected feeling. Continue reading
Just In Time
Time is a fascinating concept, and I say this even as I sit here having not worn a watch in twenty something years!
Time, as we know it, is an incredible thing. It heals all wounds, it mends fences, faces and most cuts and scrapes and bruises. It helps marinate things to a tastier level than previous. Time is also money. The list is endless.
I watched a movie the other day, In Time with Justin Timberlake. What a trip that movie was! The basic premise is that time is the only currency. A person is given 25 years to live, and then after that their own personal ‘time clock’ on their wrists starts to tick-tock away. There is no money – everything is bought and paid for ‘in time’.
What would you do if you had all the time in the world? It made me ponder, and it made me look to the past and go around times in my life where I thought for sure this was ‘it’. Although, in retrospect I’m not entirely sure what ‘it’ even was. I certainly never knew it, even when it was right there in my face! Continue reading
Can A Psychic Read During Illness?
The actual and more correct question ought to be – should a psychic read while suffering from an illness? A psychic can read anytime, anywhere – or at least this has been my personal experience. But do you want to do it? Is it fair to you and your health as a reader? And can you truly give your client your best, which is what any reader worth their salt wants to do at all times?
I have chronic bronchitis which rears its ugly head approximately twice a year. I keep antibiotics on hand, and plenty of fluids. But I lose my voice, and I must be very careful with it lest it turns into pneumonia, which used to happen quite frequently until I learned what times of year and weather patterns triggered my sickness.
So, while I am able for the most part to keep it under control, I still end up feeling rather the worse for wear for at least two to three weeks. I try, for my own sake, not to work at this time, because I take my clients’ issues to heart on a good day, when I am filled with energy. To try and take on these same issues, while I am hacking and coughing, just doesn’t resonate well with me. Continue reading
Psychic Time Frames
At times I am a client and the other times I am on the other side of the fence. Either way, predicting time is always a challenge.
I have been doing psychic readings for a very long time. I can remember when I found out I had the gift and over the years how challenging time frames are to predict.
When I was hired to do psychic readings for Psychic Access, I looked at the other psychics that work with the same company. I finally felt that I was not alone, because they had the same gift. My first phone call from a customer I can remember very well. I was nervous.
At times it is hard to give a time frame for when something will happen, depending on the circumstances. Even when I hire a psychic for myself, wanting to know when certain events will happen in my own life, I have a hard time being patient. Continue reading
How Many Other Things Are We Missing?
Spiritual seekers tend to be very keen to beat the drum of abundance – which is too often merely a thinly disguised obsession with material wealth and earthly comforts.
We simply take too much for granted every day; blessings of Joy, Beauty and Divine Grace are seldom acknowledged in our lives. How spiritually aware can we truly be if we hardly ever stop to smell the roses?
Have you heard the story of the internationally acclaimed violinist who disguised himself as a street busker with a baseball cap, and then proceeded to play Bach undercover at a metro subway station? An email outlining this intriguing story has been circulating since December 2008. There have been claims that it may be a hoax, or an urban myth, but it is indeed a true story. The event was captured on video with a hidden camera. Continue reading
