Set Your Intentions For The Highest Good
A message I just received from a friend and colleague, prompted me to write this blog. In a previous message to her, I had mentioned how my partner and I hadn’t quite nailed our niche place to settle, even after a major cross continent move over two years ago. She replied that over the past two years she has come to the conclusion that, despite her deep spiritual beliefs, the world has gone crazy. She is battling to find a reason why she is here, after all of her struggles and heartache.
So many spiritual teachings, including those found in A Course In Miracles, speak of how everything is just an illusion. How do we know what is real? How often have we have stopped to consider this? Being exposed to so much of what is going on around us, not just locally, but globally through social and other media, makes us question all the more. It makes it challenging to still feel like we are able to make a difference in the life of another human being or animal in this day and age. Continue reading
Daydream Love And Abundance Into Your Life
Have you come to a point in your life where you know that you no longer intend to settle for the way things are in your life? Or are you ready to consider that, perhaps, you actually allowed yourself to accept a less than ideal relationship, or situation? Then, as we head towards a new year, maybe it’s high time for ‘out with the old, and in with the new.’
So often my customers say, “It’s just my luck, I should have known I’d be used again.” Or they believe they will always attract the unavailable ones, the cheaters, or those with addiction problems. When a person’s subconscious is being fed statements such as these, they are taken on board as gospel by our subconscious mind. If we have programmed our subconscious to accept such dialogue, it is what it expects, not just now, but in the future too. Continue reading
It’s Not Too Late To Take Spiritual Inventory
As we finally settle into this year, many of our well-intended new year’s resolutions have already been abandoned. Yet, it is not too late. This is early part of the year is the perfect time for us to still look back, as well as make plans for the future. But where do we begin, especially as it applies to our spiritual and psychic life?
Looking spiritually inward is not quite as simple as cleaning out our closets or drawers. We may have lingering negative influences we’re not even aware of. It’s human nature to want to keep old habits instead of creating newer, healthier ones. So, as we move into the year, it’s more important than ever to make ourselves spiritually healthy. The Responsibility Of Psychic Service
Recent psychic readings, and the sort of questions clients have been asking, have made me all the more aware of the responsibility of the work we do. A few words alone, a recommended path to follow, or a suggested course of action we advise, can have a huge impact on people’s lives.
When I find myself feeling hopeless at the plight of the world, and its people and animals, I always remind myself: if I can just make a difference to the life of one person or animal today, then it’s all worth it.
In 2004, I was working at a psychic fayre one Saturday. Before visitors arrived, one of the other psychics asked me to read for her, and insisted that she read for me in return. Her reading was so negative and threw me so off balance that I packed up for the day and went home. Continue reading
The Courage To Live And Let Live
The only way we are really going to make the future work is by allowing others to do their ‘own thing’ in their own way. Our future survival and evolution as a species will not be found in sameness, alikeness, similarity, or coercion. Instead, we must build a new global civilization based on expanding diversity, variety, assortment and multiplicity. Yet, there is one fundamental condition – for it to be successful it must be achieved in harmony with others and our planet.
From the perspective of the old mainstream view of our world, such a future world of unhindered diversity appears quite impossible and non-sensical, because that would mean that everybody does their own thing in their own way. And that seems really counter-intuitive… even dangerous. A disaster waiting to happen!
History has taught us that individuals doing things their ‘own way’ eventually manifests itself as selfishness, greed, creed, personal preference, chauvinism, dogma and ego-centered beliefs – which has caused most of our wars, the establishment of our borders, the separation between the rulers and subjects, and the division between rich and poor. The Necessity Of Grief
As a psychic medium one learns a lot about grief. There are many different kinds of grief, and it’s not all about death and dying. We grieve many different things in life.
I often hear my clients describe their grief as “my heart has a hole in it” or “my heart has been ripped apart.” When we grieve it does feel as if our heart will never heal. It’s like your physical body is having an actual heart attack.
What each grieving individual experiences is different. Grief has so many different forms and it is impossible to know how it will affect each individual person. We each grieve in our own way.
There is also no time-frame on grief. The length of time a person may grieve is very individual some people may start to feel a little better seven to ten weeks. For others it may be years. Continue reading
Making The Law Of Attraction Work For You
The Law of Attraction is among the most universal, yet poorly understood concepts in the psychic realm. Countless books, lectures, and seminars center on it. So, what is it, anyway?
In a very simple sense, the Law of Attraction means that we receive back what we put out. If we send specifically positive imagery and thoughts out into the Universe (which is actually a multi-dimensional Multiverse) they shall return to us.
The opposite is also true. Literally anything we want to achieve is possible, if we set our minds and spirits to the task. Why are so many of us stuck in the idea that we must simply accept what we have?
Largely, it is conditioning. We are taught as children to “be grateful” and that good children are seen, and not heard. As adults, however, we have the ability to reprogram our thinking and make these magical possibilities come true. It isn’t just about “wishful thinking,” although this does play a part!
