Seven Types Of Psychic Ability
In the psychic world we often refer to the seven “clairs” when discussing psychic abilities. “Clair” is French for “clear.” In the mortal, mundane world, we receive messages via text, email, or in person all the time. In the psychic realm there are almost infinite numbers of ways to send and receive messages, and if you’re gifted with one of the “clairs” as some people are, you will know this.
While we as humans only have five senses, there are believed to be seven basic types of psychic ability: clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairaudience, clairtangency, clairscent, clairgustance, and claircognizance.

Ghostly Encounter At My First School
My fascination with the paranormal created quite a bit of mayhem when I started school. I was going to the same school where my sister and older brothers went before me. I had one older brother who still went to the same school at the time, and he kind made a point of it that when I saw him at school I was not to bother him. My brother was also the one who told me about the old annex building at school being haunted. The annex building used to be the original school house for one of the first schools in Columbus, Ohio.
I remember meeting my teacher on the first day and she seemed pretty nice. It made me feel better about the ghost stories my older brother told me. I was not keen to go to school at first. Take Note, You Receive Signs Every Day!
We get signs all the times from our spirit guides and angels, but we more often than not do not recognize them. We do not realize that some of the miracles that happen in our lives today, were revealed to us a long time ago. A good way to see these patterns of manifestation in our lives is to keep journal.
I often suggest to my clients that they write stuff down, even if it was from a dream they felt had no significance at the time. If the dream seems very strong it is best to write it down, because there is always reason why you had that dream. A Ghostly Encounter On Vacant Land
One of the unusual paranormal experiences I have had with haunted homes began in August of the year 1999. My sister and brother-in-law at this time bought some land to build a new house. And since the land was still not dug into, the property offered a great opportunity to show my son what it was like to camp in the “great outdoors” with no electricity, and living “off the woods”. It was a fun way to give him a taste of how life was back in them good ‘ol days.
I expected it was going to be hard on him to be without a TV or computer games. But I had some ideas about how to entertain him. There was a small stream off the land, and there was plenty of fish to be caught. My Dad’s Missing Slipper
After my father passed, my wife said that she could hear me talking to my dad in my sleep, both as an adult and as a child. I didn’t remember talking to my dad. Apparently I would talk about my dog when I was growing up, and I would carry on a conversation with him for a long time, as if he was standing right next to me. She said I also mentioned a teacher, Mrs. Whooton, my fifth grade teacher. In time the dreams with my dad stopped, because my wife says she no longer hears me talk to my father anymore.
My sister had asked me if I wanted any of his stuff. I already received a lot from him growing up and before his passing, so I could not really think of anything. But I remembered a pair of very nice slippers my wife and I had bought him for Christmas, shortly before he passed away. Continue reading
Helping A Young Psychic Develop
A young person with a psychic gift must be recognized early on, and nurtured in their development. If not, they may experience a lot of confusion and even trauma. Their gift must be seen and experienced as a blessing, not a curse.
My niece Rachel was one of the more fortunate. She clearly had a gift from a very tender age. When she was a little girl I would give my brother and sister in-law some time off by babysitting Rachel and her older sister. Every time I would go over to their house to watch the kids, Rachel didn’t want me to read her normal children books. She would grab the family photo album and look specifically at old pictures of deceased family members. She would look at these photos with much interest and talk to the people in them as if they were sitting right in front of her. Continue reading
Discovering Prophetic Dreams At A Young Age
I have had many interesting dream experiences over the years and have witnessed how they often do reflect what is yet to come. I discovered this powerful prophetic nature of our dreams at a very young age.
One of the most memorable dreams from my childhood years involved a tornado. In this recurring dream I could hear the tornado sirens going off and I kept seeing an odd image of a piece of straw that went into a telephone. I kept seeing the time being 4:23 pm and I when I woke up, I knew that something was bad was going to happen. Every time I had the dream the tornadoes would get louder and louder.
Later, in April 1974, I was over my at my grandparents house when the tornado sirens went off. I was 12 years old and I started to freak out, because of those dreams I had been having. The sky was very dark and my grandparents had me go down into the basement for shelter. I remember my grandparents lighting a old oil lantern so we could have light. Continue reading
