Spiritual Awareness Belongs To Everyone
The other day, while eating breakfast with my family, my son teased me by calling me a ‘boomer.’ Annoyed, I looked up from my phone and asked him why he said that? Apparently, I was holding my phone ‘incorrectly’ and I had the nerve to gingerly scroll the menu with my pinky finger in the air!
“Mom, you are holding the phone like an old lady, squinting your eyes to see the screen, because you’re a boomer.”
“Well excuse me, Mr. Gen Z,” I replied, trying not to laugh. “You have it all wrong, as I happen to be a proud member of Generation X. I was not born during the time of the ‘baby boomers.’
This brought up a family discussion about younger generations acting as if they are so ‘woke,’ and automatically assuming their parents and grandparents are ignorant or behind the times. Meanwhile it seems most younger people are not necessarily as aware and informed as they’d like to believe they are.
I remember when I was young adult, thinking that my parents and grandparents were ‘square’ and did not possess all the wisdom they seemed to claim they had. So, to be fair, I displayed the same youthful arrogance or pomposity back then that my son did at the breakfast table.
While I was doing the breakfast dishes, the conversation got me thinking about humanity and how we have evolved as a species. When does change in behavior really occur and what is it that makes a person spiritually aware and truly wise? What is spiritual awakening and what does the term mean to most people?
Many spiritual seekers use the term ‘awakening’ loosely to refer to an inner epiphany or a change in personal consciousness that makes one ‘more special’ or ‘superior to others,’ but I don’t think true awakening is anything like that.

The new year opens up with a pretty smooth transition, with no major astrological events or surprises.
Waking up to a Capricorn Moon conjunction with Venus in Capricorn might have some of us feeling a little tender and emotional early in the day. Also, beware the Capricorn Moon conjunction Pluto in Capricorn later this morning, as this constellation can cause emotional outbursts that negatively affect our relationships. If you feel the need, reach out to a motherly figure in your life for some support and virtual hug.
It’s back to work for many of us today under the Capricorn Moon, and even if you’ve managed a few extra days before a return to the office, the energy of the day is all about enterprise, organization and getting back into the swing of things.
This evening’s Aquarius Moon conjunction Mercury in Aquarius will have us mentally alert and still geared up to get our work and business affairs in order. If you still have a lot of catching up to do on after the holidays, tonight will be a good time to get it done. Business preparations for the week ahead will yield positive results and ensure success.
Expect the unexpected on tomorrow and Wednesday under an Aquarius Moon, as new information, ideas and alternate ways of approaching matters will seem to come at us left and right. Flexibility to alter our plans and being open to change will help us adjust to what transpires and will work in our favor. So, whatever you do try not to dig in your heels too much and do not allow your stubborn side to limit you!
The erratic energies will even out later in the week as the Moon dances through spiritual Pisces on Thursday and Friday, where we can integrate the experiences we’ve had over the holidays. Insights will abound and we will have the opportunity to shift our perspective and trust in all that’s happening around us.
The weekend will most likely be action-packed under the Aries Moon, so this is the time to ramp up on those new year resolutions and start putting healthier and more tangible activities into action. Whether you’ve committed to losing weight, exercise more, or finally get rid of the clutter in your home, this weekend will be the time to get going.
The Spiritual Meaning Of Seeing 222
If you are currently experiencing a spiritual awakening or have been on a path of spiritual awareness you may noticed certain repeating numbers showing up for you more frequently. But why are you seeing a specific number or number sequence over and over again, and what is its spiritual meaning.
When spirit is seeking to get our attention or communicate with us, we experience certain signs and synchronicities, including seeing certain numbers or repeating number sequences, also known as ‘angel numbers,’ that show up in your life in a noticeable way. We begin to constantly see these numbers everywhere, on watches and clocks, road signs, license plates, billboards, addresses, electronic exercise equipment, phone numbers, social media posts, and so on. Each number and number sequence carries its own, unique message and energy signature.
The number 2 is one I have found particularly meaningful. It is a highly esoteric number tied to the informational nature of light and how we perceive the world.
In Tarot, the number 2 is associated with the High Priestess card. She is the keeper of secret knowledge. She understands the esoteric mysteries of the Universe. She also knows knowledge is found in the light code and the high priestess can access this information. She knows how to flow with the universal laws, and how to use these laws to enact what others may view as ‘magic.’
She therefore represents masterful manifestation, and yet also an element of personal sacrifice. The high priestess does not manifest for her own selfish desires. She manifests for the highest and best good of all, even if that means she must integrate lessons and challenge herself to grow spiritually.
The High Priestess understands that the wise man knows himself to be a fool, and that there is always more to learn. She is humble, yet wise. She moves effortlessly within duality, understanding when to speak and when not to speak, when to share her knowledge and when to remain silent. When to spend her energy and when to withdraw.
Will A Time Machine Change Our Perspectives Forever?
A well-known television news show recently featured an astrophysicist talking about a project she was working on to turn back time and venture into the past. I was fascinated, but somewhat skeptical as to the potential success of such a mission.
She went on to explain that although we are currently experiencing the present moment, we are continuing to also look back into the past, while being in the present.
How does this work in our everyday reality? Imagine looking up at the sun. It takes as much as eight minutes for the sunlight to reach us, which means we are actually looking into the past.
The same applies when we are gazing up at the stars at night. Depending on a star’s location it can take starlight anything from four years to as much as fifteen billion years to reach Earth! So, once again we are in fact looking into the past.
I must admit it took me some time to wrap my head around this. However, once the concept made sense, I was able to grasp onto the meaning of all this.
She has been working diligently as part of a team for a number of years on a ‘time travel machine,’ for lack of a better term, that might have the capability of traveling so far back into the past, their hope is it could reach the exact time when the planet came into being! The time machine is set to stay in space for at least five years and hopefully reach a ten year time span.
Not only would its success afford humanity the privilege to see as far back as the beginning of time, but the machine also has the capability to go to other planets and determine whether there is for example, water, air, and any life forms existing on those planets.
Astrology Forecast December 27, 2021- January 2, 2022
As 2021 comes to a close, we can be grateful for completing an especially challenging year, and all the lessons and gifts that came with the struggles. Courtesy of today and tomorrow’s Libra Moon, it will be somewhat easier to review the past 12 months from a positive perspective. It will also inspire us to anticipate a much brighter future!
This morning the Libra Moon sextile Mars in Sagittarius and trine Saturn in Aquarius will further serve to kick-start this final week of 2021 with an increased sense of responsibility, resourcefulness, practical action and some organizational flair, ensuring we end our year on a high note.
Jupiter will move into Pisces tomorrow, ending the year on a promising, more spiritual note. In the sign of Pisces, this planet is all about generating karmic blessings and restoring our life to a better state than it was when this year started. We can certainly count on Jupiter to bring things back into balance and raise the bar in 2022.
Wednesday and Thursday’s Scorpio Moon makes these days ideal for mapping out a plan of action for next year or making a New Year’s resolution list. Striving for a better way of living by setting out your intentions is always a wonderful way to start a new year!

Haunting Tales From The Condo Complex
There is a condo building with a paranormal reputation in my area that has been around since the early 70’s. It was originally a rental apartment complex, which meant occupants constantly came and went. As a result much negative energy has been imprinted in the walls over the years.
For almost three decades this complex would often attract unsavory inhabitants, including drug dealers, criminals, and all sorts of disreputable individuals. Local law enforcement often had to intervene and escort many of them out with court orders and arrest warrants.
There have been many reports of a prevalence of dark, negative energies over the years, especially in the front of the building. Several people also died here and the earthbound souls of some still haunt the complex. I have been asked a few times to do some shamanic work to help release these restless souls and clear the unwanted energy there.
For example, a woman was brutally murdered in one of the units in the early 90’s, before her lifeless body was transferred to a car in the parking lot of a nearby local business. Some residents had seen her standing near their beds on the night she was murdered, asking for help.
I was subsequently asked to perform a cleansing on the building, and since then her spirit has not been seen again. I felt she had been released and have since moved on to the Other Side. The thing I heard her say clairaudiently at the time was, “I will choose my company better in the next life.” The man who murdered her had asked her out at a local chain restaurant that she would frequent, and she thought he was attractive. She regrettably said yes.
Frank, an 80-year-old gentleman who lived in the front of the building used to be a ‘busy body’ who felt it his duty to enforce the rules of the building. He would religiously be outside in the parking lot, instructing those who drove through which area was not meant to be used as part of the road, since it ended in a cul-de-sac. But some would stubbornly continue to use this area as a shortcut through the parking lot to get to the main road, which was not allowed.

Christmas week this year should unfold without any major astrological challenges or glitches.
The Cancer Moon today and tomorrow will have us preoccupied with finalizing our holiday plans, and making sure all is in order for the celebrations that lay ahead. Fortunately, Mercury in Capricorn trine Uranus in Taurus will inspire a determined, inventive state of mind, making unconventional problem-solving an effortless possibility.
The Sun will also move into Capricorn tomorrow, giving us the extra boost we may need to complete all the tasks necessary before the year’s end.
With the Moon prowling through Leo on Wednesday and Thursday, we’ll have to be careful to watch our ego. Remember that giving is more important than receiving, and this is not just limited to Christmas boxes and bows. Loved ones need to know you care, and generous messages from the heart will be worth much more than overpriced, last-minute holiday gifts!
Christmas will be under a Virgo Moon, making it essential that we pay close attention to details and adjust expectations accordingly. We are often prone to visualizing exactly what or how things should happen on these very special days, and that can set us up for disappointment. Instead, focus on the true spirit of the season and the true joy that cannot be wrapped up in colorful paper.
Beware the Virgo Moon opposition with Neptune in Pisces late on Christmas day, as this constellation may leave us feeling nervous and highly sensitive. It can also cause people to be somewhat disingenuous and insincere. So, if you are entertaining judgmental, demanding relatives, be careful not to let them get under your skin!
Restoring our balance should be easy under Sunday’s Libra Moon, when we can all step back and appreciate the true beauty that dwells in our lives, not just on Christmas, but every day of the year.
