Our Past Lives, Ourselves
In tandem with the concept of free will there is the idea of past lives and how they intertwine with karma. In Sanskrit, the word karma means “action.” Every one of our actions has a meaning which ripples through our very fabric.
Some of us may know about one or more of our past life already. Others may have only experienced bits and pieces: images seen in a dream, or inexplicable patterns that emerge in our lives. We may wonder why we always seem to be unlucky in love or needing a challenge at work. Every lifetime we get is the universe trying to teach us. What we perceive as hardship or bad luck is really a learning opportunity!
Discovering these patterns can be surprisingly easy. Start meditating and keeping two journals: one for waking and one for dreams. Are you noticing certain colors, smells, sounds? Loving Yourself Unconditionally
The first person any of us learns to love is our self. And that’s how it should be, even if many of us forget how to do that somewhere along the way.
We live in a culture which is often harsh, judgmental, and narrow-minded, causing many of us to stop loving ourselves. Everyone has had a time when they felt “less than”, or imperfect. This becomes a snowball effect where we gradually put ourselves down all the time. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
How can we expect to show love for anyone else if we do not first love ourselves? So many of us think of love as an abstract “thing.” Love is not a thing; it’s an action. How To Use Your Own Pendulum
One of the most common and easiest to use magical divination tools might already be available in your toolkit, or perhaps your jewelry box. The pendulum is simply a weighted object attached to a chain or piece of string. Pendulums can be purchased, or made by hand. For best results, choose an object with a bit of weight.
This type of magic is a dowsing spell. It will work best when your mind is at ease, since it is channeled through your subconscious.
In order to achieve the results you want, you will first need to practice with your new pendulum. Hold its cord between the thumb and forefinger of your dominant hand, and concentrate. In order to “calibrate,” ask your pendulum to give a motion that means “yes.” It may move back and forth, sideways, or in a small circle. Discover Your Higher Self
The Higher Self has taken on many names: Nirvana, Ascended State, Total Consciousness, and many more. But what does it really mean to be connected with our higher self?
As most of us only use a tiny fraction of our brain’s potential, so do we also connect with a small piece of our inner spiritual selves. What It Means To Be Psychic
The word “psychic” gets tossed around a good deal in today’s world. Most people, when asked, would say that a psychic is a person who sees the future, or is able to connect with spirits. The truth is, it’s not quite so simple, but everyone is born with psychic abilities.
Psychic ability is the ability to interface with realms beyond the everyday. There are as many ways to connect psychically as there are realms!
