In Our Own Time
We come in to this existence, and later depart, according to our own timeline. My husband and I recently observed the one year anniversary of our daughter Kathy’s passing. As painful as her death continues to be for us, it is none the less something we have no choice but to deal with.
Kathy was a private and reclusive person and did not have a lot of really close friends. However, the ones she did have were especially precious to her and she nourished and valued those friendships. I had a phone call recently from one of her friends, who is still struggling with Kathy’s passing. Exploring Your Past Lives
Because the life we’re now living is one of only countless past and future lifetimes our soul will experience, there will be times when we experience the strange sense of déjà vu. We all have those moment when we feel that we’ve been somewhere, seen something, or met someone before, even when that seems impossible. And we probably have!
Although our conscious mind does not remember the events of a past life, our body (in fact, science tells us, our very cells) do remember. This phenomenon can appear in different forms. Some of us may be drawn to a particular culture or language, even if we’ve never been there. For example, you may be American, but feel an affinity for all things Japanese. Perhaps certain smells or tastes will trigger a subconscious past life memory. In this life, we experience only one set of sensory inputs. Time Waits For No One
I was meditating deeply one afternoon wanting to connect with my spirit guide. I wanted to see if I there was anything that I needed to know, or anything that could help me be a better person. I then heard the words: “Time waits for no one.”
I had been putting various things off for a while in my life, but I sensed this message was not for me. Sometimes when I hear things I later find out that they were for someone else: a client, family member, or friend.
Later that day, I took a call on PsychicAccess.com from one of my regulars who I often read for. She asked me if there was anything that she needed to know and I instantly knew the message about time and procrastination was for her, so I told her about what came through to me while I was meditating. Tree Insights
If you told me a month ago that I would have a conversation with a tree, I would most likely not have believed it. Not that I am closed off to such experiences, but rather because I have never had any kind of engagement with nature on this level.
This weekend I was hiking with some friends, and there was a moment when I was separated from them. One of my friends went ahead of me, and the other two lagged behind. We were on a train, so I was confident that we would eventually meet up. So, I appreciated this time to myself for reflection and contemplation.
I sat down and began to meditate. As I did so, I turned my attention to a very large tree that must have been there for hundreds of years. I recalled something that I had channeled in the book I was writing. I recently wrote about how everything has a spirit, including animals and plants. I had not really thought much about this in the past. Most of my spiritual insights have been associated with interactions with angels, spirit guides, and individuals who have passed on. This said, I am certainly open to interacting with the spirit’s of animals and plants. Continue reading
Déjà Vu Comes From Alternate Dimensions
Have you ever had the feeling you have been somewhere before, or done something before? We all experience déjà vu from time to time. There are various scientific and spiritual theories for this phenomenon. Personally, I believe the answer can be found in alternate realities.
It is believed by some experts that there are an infinite number of dimensions existing in the same place at the same time. It is further believed that you and I are currently in the third dimension or density. And, it is believed that those other dimensions are on alternate timelines. Some are parallel to our timeline, some are ahead of ours, and some behind us. Some people even believe that for every major decision we make an alternate dimension is created in which we choose differently.
If you are wondering how these dimensions can exist in the same place at the same time, then consider a radio. I can tune in to a 100 different stations on a single radio, by simply changing the channel or frequency. The same holds true for dimensions. They exist on different frequencies. Groping In The Dark
We have one ultimate goal when we come into this existence and that is spiritual growth. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? So, how come most of us seem to be just groping in the dark much of the time? Is it because we are continually being told that we must have a life purpose or soul desire? One hears ridiculous statements like “that never was supposed to happen” or even worse “he died before his time.” Who decided these things for us?
A friend of mine just shared a situation with me trying to find the meaning behind it all. She and her husband owned a farm selling, raising and growing all manner of organic foods, fully believing this was a calling they were meant to pursue. All was going well, the animals were active and healthy, the crops were coming up abundantly and success certainly appeared to be theirs. This went on for about two years and then everything slowly began to disintegrate. The animals began to have major health issues, the crops were not producing as they should and they were in total jeopardy of losing all that they had aspired to achieve. Continue reading
