Mediumship Is Not A Psychic Sideshow
Mediumship presented as entertainment is a double-edged sword. The media hype generated by psychic television shows, and live stage performances featuring celebrity mediums, has no doubt contributed much to an increased public awareness of mediumship. It has liberated spiritualism from the stereotype of the 19th century séance by bringing the work of the psychic medium into the public domain, and into mainstream pop culture.
But does mediumship as an entertainment genre do spiritualism and the daily work of psychics any real justice? I am certainly not a purist. Neither am I a traditionalist when it comes to spiritual matters. I tend to shy away from any form of fundamentalism or fanaticism. But having the work of talented mediums dished up as trivial amusement has certainly proven to be a mixed blessing in my own practice as psychic medium. Continue reading
Love Is The Glue That Binds Us
I have been asked many times by my clients, and those that know of my gifts, if the people they love are still able to connect with them after they transfer over to the spirit realm. My answer is always “of course!”
When you love someone there is a cord that connects you and that person for all of eternity. That love never goes away. It is always there and it is what makes it possible for us to connect in the dream state with those on the others side. We can connect with our loved ones in the weighted down material realm also, but in the astral realm or dream state it is so much easier. All we have to do is set an intention.
For example, before we go to sleep we may say, “I really want to connect with Grandpa tonight and have a conversation by way of telepathy.” Those of us that have had visitations are already well aware that when we communicate with our loved ones this way it is always through energetic thought transference, and not with actual speech. The communications is clear, fast and seems almost more real then communication in the physical, material realm. Continue reading

I can tell you that there is life after death, but you may not believe me. I wouldn’t expect you to believe me, unless you have had an experience like several of the ones I have had over the years.
I can also tell you I believed in the Afterlife long before I had my first experience. I believed so much that I really was never scared of it. It runs in the family. A Message Of Hope From Hel’s Pond
A yellow butterfly guided me to Blanke Helle, or “Hel’s Pond” during a recent visit to Berlin, Germany. It darted ahead of me all the way from the bus stop in AlboinStraße, until I reached the entrance to the park where lies forgotten, and hidden from public notice, the ancient pagan site sacred to Hela, or Hel, the Norse-Germanic goddess of death and the underworld.
I have been guided by butterflies on a regular basis over the past two years, since the first one appeared to me at the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, Greece. I was much encouraged by the sudden presence of this golden, magical creature, because it predicted that my visit to this sacred pagan site would be less somber than I had imagined. Yellow butterflies represent rebirth, new life, transformation and resurrection in several cultures. The Irish believe yellow butterflies to be an indicator of the peaceful transition of departed souls. And in Christian tradition yellow butterflies are symbolic of the Christ’s resurrection from death. They are also regarded as a sign of the presence of angels. This Puzzling Phenomenon Of Apports
Many of us have experienced how items have mysteriously moved in our environment, only to reappear in the most unexpected of places. Often these are trinkets, like jewelry which have special links to a loved one. Crystals and other precious stones are sometimes also moved around by spirit.
Whatever the items, they are often the ‘calling cards’ of a deceased loved one or a specific spirit guide. This puzzling phenomenon of an object disappearing, and then materializing out of thin air, is known as an apport. Spiritualism was at the height of its popularity in the late 1800s. Thousands of séances were being held all over the Western world. Much was also documented about apports, or gifts from the spirits: shells, small trinkets, fossils, coins, feathers, flowers, and even items previously mislaid by the attending sitters suddenly appearing in front of them. A Message From A Dog To His Human
The following is a transcript of a reading I had the honor to recently channel for a client whose dog had passed:
“He wants you to know he is with you still. Imagine his arms made of Light lifting you up, and letting you know he is floating in a wonderful place and totally pain free.
He wants you to know that he is part of the energy of the Light beings. In the same way that your finger is an aspect of your body, but he is not your entire body, he is an aspect of the angels, although not entirely an angel on his own.
He was not always a dog, and is not a dog now. He came back as a dog this time around because there are certain lessons we have to learn on our Journeys, and it just so happened that the lessons he had to learn this time could best be learned not only in dog form, but with none other than you. Afterlife Signs From The Dearly Departed
When someone close to us passes on they often give us signs to let us know that they are still around. Our loved ones are very eager to let us know that everything is fine with them when they cross over.
Those who have passed on still know what goes on in our daily lives and they still love us. They want us to know that. Not all of us can always sense them around us, that doesn’t mean they will not give us a sign.
These signs from the other side come in different ways, shapes and forms:
Animals & Insects
Loved ones often come to us in the form of an animal or other creature, from a butterflies and puppies to birds and wild animals. These animals might show up from nowhere, cross our path, call to us from outside, fly into a room, or even land on us!
