How To Get More From A Psychic Reading

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comThere are several ways you can ensure to get the most from a spiritual reading session with a psychic or medium. Firstly, proper etiquette is important. Show respect for Spirit by being prepared for your reading. Have your questions ready. Clear your mind. Focus on what is being said and what you can learn. If you are not sure of the context, ask for clarity.

There are also things you should refrain from doing during an online or phone psychic reading. Do not pour drinks, go to the bathroom, turn on the TV, or let the dog out during your reading. You would not do those things if you were in person at the psychic’s office. Get those things out of the way before you call. Although people sometimes think they are fully engaged while doing additional tasks, they often miss the point altogether, or attach a completely different interpretation to what Spirit is saying.

Furthermore, you can get much more from a reading session by allowing time afterwards to sit for a moment, and reflect. Think of additional examples where the information and learning can be applied. If something is true for a work situation, it might also be very relevant to your personal life. Set a goal to keep this learning front and centre, in such a way that you can continue to benefit from the reading in the coming days. Continue reading

How I Communicate With Spirit

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comWhen I do readings, I use a process whereby I ask Spirit to come forward, with a great deal of protection and guidance, to provide clear, concise and accurate information for the highest good for all concerned.

Spirit always comes through with a great deal of love. They gather to help guide, guard and protect us. They often give us suggestions or recommendations and support us in times of need. However, we all have our own free will, so it is up to us to make the final determination as to whether we will follow their guidance.

There are some things I do not address during a reading. From the very beginning, I have asked my guides not to give me anything to do with health, death or lottery numbers. Therefore, I do not give any medical diagnosis, neither do I foretell someone’s passing, or give out so-called ‘winning numbers.’

Also, if Spirit feels that a particular question is inappropriate, they will not show me anything. Sometimes, they will say specifically that they cannot disclose that particular information.

Spirit uses a combination of direct voice, symbols, and expressions to communicate messages. Symbols are a type of short cut that, over the years, Spirit has developed with me to make certain messages as clear as a bell, without having to go into greater detail. Continue reading

Rescue Work – Learning To Help Lost Souls

Click photo for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comRescue sessions intrigued me from the very start of my mediumship career. In order to facilitate a rescue, several times per year the advanced mediumship class at my spiritualist church would sit in a meditation circle. Reverend Doreen would then go through a process to invite people to come through, if they wanted or needed help. These were people who had passed into Spirit but were confused as to their current whereabouts or circumstances, and didn’t know what to do next.

About eight of us would sit quietly on our chairs until someone came through to one of us in the circle. We spoke in their ‘voices’, sometimes even using their accents. Reverend Doreen would question them as to their names, occupations, the last thing they remembered, and so on. These stories were fascinating and came from all realms of life here on the earth plane. Becoming A Medium

click photo for a free reading at PsychicAccess.comAfter my first encounter with spirit in 1987, at a mediumship evening at a spiritualist church, I started attending Sunday services regularly. This was not because I had suddenly become overtly religious. It was just to get more spirit messages during that particular part of each service! I was totally mesmerized by the whole concept of communication with the spirit world and enjoyed hearing the messages given to others almost as much as those that were given to me.

One evening, I received a phone call from my friend Betty, whom I had met at the church. She ran both the weekly meditation and healing evenings. She explained that there was a registration sheet for upcoming mediumship classes and that my name was on it. I informed her that there must be some mistake, because I hadn’t put my name on any list whatsoever. She laughed and said that she had put my name on the list, because after getting to know me during her evening programs, she had a feeling that I would enjoy the classes. Continue reading

My First Encounter With Spirit

Click here to get a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comIn the summer of 1987, nearly a year after my parents died just a few days apart, I attended a mediumship evening at one of the spiritualist churches in Toronto. I had never been to a spiritualist church before, however, I had met a friend for lunch earlier in the day and she told me about the upcoming event that evening. Neither of us had ever heard of such a thing before. Unfortunately, my friend was unable to attend because she was on her way out of town, but I decided to give it a try on my own.

The church was located in a shopping plaza, on the second level, above a store. As I went up the very steep steps into parts unknown above, I was not only curious, but also quite skeptical. The room was already packed when I got there, so I sat right near the door, just in case these people started performing any weird rituals, or so other strange stuff. I figured that I could be down the stairs and out the door in a flash, if need be! Continue reading

Leaving A Legacy – A Message From My Guides

click photo for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comAs time goes on, it is natural to think of the impact you might have had on the people, places and things you have encountered over the years.

Some people become great inventors, physicians, leaders, politicians or investors, among many other noble professions. They can measure their legacies easily from the many lives they have touched with their work. Often their identities are household names and the entire world is familiar with their efforts.

But what about those of you who are living day-to-day, doing the best you can to keep your life in balance, your children educated and your mortgage or rent paid? What kind of legacy do you envision for your own family and for the world in which you live? Continue reading

Inspiration – A Message From My Guides

click photo to get a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comDo you feel inspired? With the hectic pace of life today, it is relatively easy to keep your head down and just live day-to-day, without having time to notice much beyond your immediate purview. Whether you are consumed by a busy career, overextended with a heavily scheduled home life, or over-committed to extended family and friends, or all of the aforementioned, it can be difficult to find true inspiration for oneself.

But there is no time like the present! Make a small but important commitment to yourself. Lift your head. Look around. Take time to breathe. Spend some time alone. Read. Learn. Appreciate. Take inspiration from the world around you. Set healthy boundaries. Stop and smell the flowers. Enjoy good-news stories. Revel in others’ accomplishments. Know that if others can do it, so can you.
