Visiting The Other Side
Each and every night, as we go into a sleep state, and every single time we are in a meditative state, lucid or otherwise, we are actually on the Other Side. The power of the mind does not exist only on this earthly plane. We are in realty multidimensional and once we get a grasp on how all this works it can be exciting. We can also learn how to maneuver this phenomenon to greatly enhance any aspect of our existence.
Did you ever take the wrong set of stairs, or got off on the wrong floor? Becoming aware of the Other Side is like going into a gigantic building for the first time. How daunting is that! Although you might know which office you are heading for, you may not know exactly which direction to take. There may be a list of office number on the board, showing exactly who or what is on each floor. But you may not be fully aware of what each service was, or if you do know what each person was qualified to do, you may still not understand the meaning behind each set of professional qualifications. The True Meaning Of Bliss
I have been contemplating how often a friend’s photo on social media, a call from a customer, an advertisement, the written word, or an overheard phrase has triggered a really significant memory for me. This was the case again last night, when the word “bliss” featured in a commercial for chocolate on my TV screen. For some reason this prompted a memory from many years ago.
I was working temporarily in a retirement home as a caregiver. Although I didn’t have long-term plans to remain in that job, I loved working with the old people, and used to give them reflexology treatments and healing massages in my free time. The short treatments gave them great relief, and they began asking if I would come back and help them again.
This caused a lot of animosity with the rest of the staff, who were already unfriendly towards me. They made it clear that I was not ‘one of them’. I was the outsider, and not from ‘their village.’ The home’s matron asked me to stop doing any healing or therapeutic work with the residents, because it was not in my job description. Connecting With Loved Ones Through Meditation
When we become silent within, we can enter into an alpha state that takes us into a deep meditative state. We don’t force thoughts out so much as just allow them to come and go. In this altered state of consciousness we connect with a higher frequency, one of complete bliss and sense of spiritual connection.
If we set an intention, while going into such a meditative state, we can have a ‘line in the water’ to connect with our loved ones who have crossed over. I have helped many clients connect with their loved ones after their passing. I often share with them some simple things they can do to open the door for an opportunity for their loved ones to come through. Continue reading
An Astral Visitation With Michael Jackson
I recently experienced another astral visitation with Michael Jackson, whom I have connected with him on several occasions since his passing. I have always felt a deep connection to the famous singer. We are both Virgos and he was born only two days before me. He was also born in the same city my mother and her family grew up in, and some of my uncles attended school with him and his brothers.
Our prenatal birth charts show that both Michael and I originate from Alioth. Alioth is one of the seven stars that make up the “Big Dipper.” I have done much research on this and find it very interesting. We both have the same star strength and many things in common. I was even a professional dancer myself at one point in my life, and I have also had to deal with negative people that try and bring you down, because of either jealousy or insecurity, like Michael did. I have always felt connected to his energy and my being resonates with his song lyrics. Continue reading
Being “Spaced Out” And Omnipresent
When I am out walking with my dogs, I often feel as if the upper part of my body is being stretched and I am eight feet tall. When this happens, I get a sense of peace that everything is just as it’s meant to be, and that all will be well.
This past year or so, many customers have also shared with me how they too feel detached from their bodies as they go about their everyday lives. This does not just happen when they are having a conscious, or unconscious out-of-body experience.
Some teachings talk of how it is our very nature to constantly migrate away from our physical form, because we are actually omnipresent beings. My husband doesn’t think I am on this planet very often anyway, and perhaps he is right. But I must be omnipresent in order to get my everyday chores done! Continue reading
Grandpa’s Visitation Heightened My Spirituality
I remember it very distinctively. Almost 16 years ago, after his passing, I prayed to God that I may be able to make contact with my Grandpa. I needed to say goodbye and tell him I love him one last time. He had promised me before his passing that he would return to visit me. He kept his promise.
I decided to learn the Rosary while at a Catholic bookstore, shortly before his funeral. I was buying cross pendants for my grandma and other members of the family who wanted to wear a similar necklace my grandpa would be buried with it. I felt it would help those of us mourning to feel connected and closer to him. I think I bought ten of them. My brothers each took one, as well as my mother, and of course my grandma and a few of my cousins.
A nun at the store told me that day that if I learned the Rosary, I would be blessed. She gave me a bookmark which explained all the different blessings one is to receive if you learn and recite the Rosary every day. I decided I wanted to know how to pray the Rosary. Continue reading
This Puzzling Phenomenon Of Apports
Many of us have experienced how items have mysteriously moved in our environment, only to reappear in the most unexpected of places. Often these are trinkets, like jewelry which have special links to a loved one. Crystals and other precious stones are sometimes also moved around by spirit.
Whatever the items, they are often the ‘calling cards’ of a deceased loved one or a specific spirit guide. This puzzling phenomenon of an object disappearing, and then materializing out of thin air, is known as an apport. Spiritualism was at the height of its popularity in the late 1800s. Thousands of séances were being held all over the Western world. Much was also documented about apports, or gifts from the spirits: shells, small trinkets, fossils, coins, feathers, flowers, and even items previously mislaid by the attending sitters suddenly appearing in front of them.
