Visiting The Other Side
Each and every night, as we go into a sleep state, and every single time we are in a meditative state, lucid or otherwise, we are actually on the Other Side. The power of the mind does not exist only on this earthly plane. We are in realty multidimensional and once we get a grasp on how all this works it can be exciting. We can also learn how to maneuver this phenomenon to greatly enhance any aspect of our existence.
Did you ever take the wrong set of stairs, or got off on the wrong floor? Becoming aware of the Other Side is like going into a gigantic building for the first time. How daunting is that! Although you might know which office you are heading for, you may not know exactly which direction to take. There may be a list of office number on the board, showing exactly who or what is on each floor. But you may not be fully aware of what each service was, or if you do know what each person was qualified to do, you may still not understand the meaning behind each set of professional qualifications.
Blessed are those that know the path out of their carnal flesh, for they shall attain intuition ~ Michael Bassey Johnson
This is similar to what happens when we are an altered state of consciousness, which we simply describe as a sleep or meditative state.
Where do we actually go when we sleep? Just as in a huge office building downtown, once we are ‘over there’ many choices become available to us. Each individual door will take us to a unique place.
One door is the familiar dream area, which in my estimation is one of the best that is offered to us. It is here that we sort out all the pertinent information connected to our personal trials and tribulations, and all answers to any question we may pose for ourselves. The subconscious self does not have any concept of lies or truth; it only operates in the ‘what is.’
This is the ultimate method of understanding the how and why of what the events we are experiencing may mean.
The dream realm can also be divided into a variety of arenas. We can dream to sort out a certain problem, we can dream to look into future happenings, and we dream as well for events about others. There are precognitive dreams compounded with this. In this area alone we can spend many hours trying to understand, dissect and interpret to help arrive at profound conclusion once we get the drift as to how each person operates and what the signs and signals mean to each individual. For example, if one dreams of water it is generally connected to emotions. An ongoing dream about bears may show that you are operating out of fear.
The danger here is not to expect that a symbol has the same meaning for all. The trick to dream interpretation is to look at the feeling that has arrived as a result of the particular dream, as well as what has been presented in the dream.
I have been asked a number of times to teach someone how to go to the Other Side. The one thing I am always certain of is that most of us already do it, and know how to do it – we just don’t always have a conscious memory of it.
Flying in his dreams was an exhilarating, breathtaking experience, sometimes literally, that tended to leave reality wanting, like riding a roller coaster compared to mowing the lawn ~ Sol Luckman
The first thing I do, before I ready myself to go the Other Side, is to have a plan in place. I would not wonder into a huge building downtown, unless I had a particular reason for going there. Who would I want to see and what would the cause be for me to contact that person?
I go to the Other Side frequently, because that seems to me to be the most direct route to get spiritual answers, direction or guidance for any ongoing issue that I am pursuing. So, with my cause already in mind and my issue clearly settled within me, I am now prepared to go.
In the beginning I had to instruct my conscious mind to bring out the memory of the information when I come out of the trance state. I no longer have to put this instruction in place; my conscious self has now permanently embedded this intention within me.
Once you have established this format for yourself you will quickly see how easy and beneficial astral projection can be to you. Do not get discouraged if you do not have success immediately. You also had to repeat the multiplication tables a number of times before the conscious self stored it as a conscious realty.
Before you astral travel, ascertain who or what you are planning to see and your reasons behind it. If you should choose to go to the Other Side just to see what is available to you, that is okay too. Personally I would never waste such a trip. I astral travel each and every night, from where I bring back the most amazing information. I don’t not always remember the experience, and from that I have learnt it is not always important for the conscious self to recall the events – in these cases the information was apparently meant for the subconscious self only.
Now the next thing on the agenda is to interpret what I have seen and experienced. That is a whole other ball game. I am usually successful in my interpretation, however there are times when I just can’t get it figured out. In those instances, I will go back the next night and pose the question differently, and find that this way it often will work for me.
I encourage you to try it out. It certainly can be one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have.
