Postcards From Spirit
Spirit messages often remind me of old-fashioned postcards and modern day text messages. As a child I loved receiving postcards from family and friends all over the world. Postcards were a way to see other places and how other people lived, before the era of texting and social media. Postcards were a way to send short messages just to say I’m thinking of you, similar to the way my grandchildren these days send each other short text messages… while they are in the same room!
Postcards and text messages have another similarity. Sometimes the messages are abbreviated and the person reading the message may not always understand exactly what the sender was really trying to say. And as it is sometimes necessary with postcards and texting, spirit messages often also require us to ‘connect the dots’ or read between the lines.
People may read or hear the same message, yet get several different meanings of what the sender was saying. This is one reason a person can have readings with several different psychics, mediums and diviners, and come away from them very confused, because the readers interpret messages differently. For this reason it is best to find one or two readers you feel comfortable working, instead of consulting with too many different readers. Continue reading
Reunited With Crochet Friend In Spirit
I like to frequent a well-known, local bookstore. It is my way of having peaceful fellowship indirectly with others. I don’t have to talk to anyone, but the feeling of others around while I’m reading is a pleasant feeling. I always sit on the same chair, which is almost like a comfy love seat with others sitting nearby.
One day, while sitting there and reading, I noticed in my peripheral vision a lady to my left. She sat down on the sofa next to me.
She then looked at me and said, “I’m so sorry I didn’t want to disturb you, but I think you may have known my grandmother. She attended the same church you went to.”
I asked her which church she was speaking of and then confirmed that I had indeed gone there for a few years, but no longer attend. Continue reading
Dream Postcards From The Other Side
Recently, I had the most intense dreams and they were connected to a friend of mine who lives five thousand miles away across the globe. The dreams were random. I hadn’t been thinking of her prior to going to sleep, nor of her deceased loved ones, whom I had never met, or had only met a couple of times.
I once read an article that suggested such dreams are ‘asking for something’ and that there is a request in there somewhere for the dreamer to do something, or deliver something.
Quite frankly, I have passed on a few spirit messages to this particular friend over the years, and I always seem to do so with a little trepidation. Although it was never said, I always felt she possibly thought of me as being odd… and not very bright. Do You See Dead People?
That is one of the first things I ask people that take my psychic development class. When I first started my professional career as a psychic medium, people often asked me the same question. I used to be a little reluctant to answer.
Now, my quick reply is simply, “Why, yes I do.” Even though I am a medium, when they sometime appear in a place I’m not expecting the pleasure of their company, it can still startle me. My first reaction is to simply ask spirit what they would like me to know? Am I simply invading their space? It is my experience that spirit will try to get our attention in various ways. Rescue Work – Learning To Help Lost Souls
Rescue sessions intrigued me from the very start of my mediumship career. In order to facilitate a rescue, several times per year the advanced mediumship class at my spiritualist church would sit in a meditation circle. Reverend Doreen would then go through a process to invite people to come through, if they wanted or needed help. These were people who had passed into Spirit but were confused as to their current whereabouts or circumstances, and didn’t know what to do next.
About eight of us would sit quietly on our chairs until someone came through to one of us in the circle. We spoke in their ‘voices’, sometimes even using their accents. Reverend Doreen would question them as to their names, occupations, the last thing they remembered, and so on. These stories were fascinating and came from all realms of life here on the earth plane. The Unconditional Love Of Spirit
I have never promoted myself as a medium, however on occasion I do get messages from those whom have crossed over. I have always received these messages from those that I have known personally and loved. However, for others it is only if they show themselves to me and allow me to access their energy.

A Sign From Spirit On Laundry Day
Whenever I do laundry, I tend to think of my grandma, especially when I take out the clothes and un-wrinkle each item, before tossing it into the dryer. I then think of something she said back when I was a young girl. She said it is like a gift to do laundry, as it gives you time to relax and meditate.
She was a wise woman. Sometimes when we are doing mindless things it can be the perfect time to just think! Doing the laundry, I often think of things, deeply. And sometimes I actually receive the answers to questions I have had in the back of my mind for quite some time. Continue reading
