Seeing Clearly By Way Of Faith
Most of us face a roller-coaster life. We have our ups and downs, our trials and tribulations. We sometimes feel tempted to say things we shouldn’t, and we are sometimes unable to put that chocolate chip cookie down when we know we should.
We live in a world where there are temptations all around us. That little voice in our head tells us to do it, when our intuition says it would hurt us. We are sometimes left conflicted and double-minded.
But when we have faith we act and speak wisely. Faith helps us to choose the path of wisdom and it instills insight. When we choose to think negatively, and turn away from faith, that is when obstacles enter into our life. Continue reading
Have A Good Night! – Part 3
If you have by now used a few of my suggestions to help you get a good night’s rest and have finally gotten your ‘sleeping ducks’ in order, you may now want to learn how you can start getting the most out of your dream weaving time.
We all dream when we get quality sleep. There are many stages of sleep which I will not go into here, but I will tell you that the Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep stage is most significant when it comes to dreaming. This is the mysterious time every night when we dream by leaving the body to astral travel and connect with the spiritual realm.
Many people claim they do not dream. This is not true, because everyone dreams. I have shared in many past blogs several tools you can use to help reel in those dreams and record them. Whether it be a precognitive dream, lucid dream or prolific dream, they can really help you in many ways in designing the life you want! Even more so if you record them. Continue reading
Have A Good Night! – Part 2
Sleep is essential for a quality life filled with happiness, spiritual growth and well-being.
In the first article in this series I shared how a client inspired me to write this blog about the need for healing sleep.
Here are some of the things I shared with her that can also help you with getting better, more healing sleep.
The following are some tried and true remedies that can help you get some really good sleep, but please do consult your physician before trying any of these:
1. Magnesium, helps relax the muscles in the body and alleviates headaches.
2. Lavender is a very relaxing essential oil that helps me to fall asleep every night. It’s one of my favorite oils. It calms the mind and is a lot like a chemical free sedative. Personally, I love Lavender! Continue reading
Winter May Come, But Spring Will Always Follow
The delicate African Violets on my window sill are beautiful this season. The window is the best place for them, as each one soaks up the sunlight from the East. The Sun smiles on them this morning.
The key thing with violets that many people don’t realize is that we hurt them the most by over-watering. Water is a good thing for plants, right? Violets, however, are native to the tropics where heat, sun, and a dry atmosphere is more prevalent.
The unique needs of these violets teaches us how to follow our own path. This is the true beauty of nature. See, each of us is different. When we look around us, we can’t follow someone else’s path, or be jealous, or worried that the path they are following is different from our own. Continue reading
Have A Good Night! – Part 1
When I do readings I usually look at the aura of my client. I can tell right away if they are getting the proper amount of sleep, because I can see if they have enough energy, or not. I believe that adequate sleep is not only vital for our physical and psychological health, but it is fundamental to our psychic awareness and our spiritual well-being and development.
Lack of energy is sometimes due to poor diet or people around them draining them, also known as energy vampires. But it is more often a case of people getting less than their fair share of sleep every night. This can have a negative domino effect on a person’s energy levels, and in turn create some health issues. Continue reading
Being In Your Element
A former work associate, whom I hadn’t heard from in several years, recently called me to touch base. She asked me how I was doing and out popped my words: “I am in my element! I am working from home, doing what I love and surrounded by my menagerie of many”.
After we ended the call, I began analyzing what I had just said, and just what “being in my element” really meant, because it isn’t a term I use regularly. It made me more aware of how I had specifically set my intention and manifested the actual circumstances I wanted to work in, even though, right now, I am in the process of manifesting them on another continent! Stay Away From Those ‘Basket Thieves’
Your hopes, your dreams, your wishes and aspirations, all of your visions for your life are stacked together in your own little basket of hope. I have one. So does my neighbor, and my best friend too. Be it in our minds, or on paper, we all have that little basket of hope. Or one could even go so far as to call it a “bucket list”. I call it my “basket of hope”. Same difference.
Recently I had the misfortune of coming across a “basket thief” – kind of like a horse whisperer or a dog whisperer, except not nearly the positive experience either one of the above can bring. A basket thief doesn’t come to you to whisper in your ear about your hopes and your dreams. They don’t even really care about your hopes and dreams. What they do care about is you putting aside said hopes and dreams in order to help them achieve theirs. Continue reading
