Mooney’s Mansion On Walhalla Road
In 1979, while still in high school, I had a profound paranormal encounter. At the time I was working for my brother-in-law for the summer vacation, to earn a few extra bucks. He operated a house painting service in those days.
He came up to me one day and said: “You will not believe where we are going to paint next!” To my shock and horror he revealed that we would be working at Mooney’s Mansion on Walhalla Road – one of the most notorious haunted places in Columbus, Ohio. I humbly requested to work on another project, but he refused saying he needed all his painters out there, since it was a large project.
Going down Walhalla Road again brought back many childhood memories and it still gave me the creeps. As kids we used to take a ride down the road on our bicycles to go by the old mansion. A Farewell Message From My Father
My father passed away, two weeks before Christmas, five years ago. My older brother Mike was sitting next to my dad in his room at the hospice when it happened. I was three counties away at the time, but on my way there.
Mike later told us that my father suddenly sat up in his bed. His eyes were wide open, as he looked up and pointed to the ceiling. He said that the heavens were calling him and that an angel was on his way to take him away. My father then took his last breath. Continue reading
Seeing The True Spiritual Essence In Others
In 2005, for what seemed like seven very long months from the time of his diagnosis, I nursed my father through pancreatic cancer. Even the hospice staff complained that he was a difficult man, so the challenges weren’t only my imagination.
We’d all hoped for a miracle, and although I don’t usually read for myself, I did do a reading when he was diagnosed and was shown that he had six to twelve months to live. My own reading confused me initially, but I have since learned the symbology of Tarot in relation to one’s mortality, when it literally shows that someone is being called home – home to spirit. The Ouija Board Is Not A Harmless Toy
The Ouija board is an occult item that you don’t want to mess with, or even try. It looks like something harmless and it’s supposed to be a fun, friendly board game, but using it may open you up to something that could bring harm to you.
My brother once thought it was harmless to try and use the Ouija board to make contact with a good friend we had lost in a car crash. We grew up together, and when we heard that our friend had passed in an accident my brother was very distraught. He was looking for answers as to what had happened and for some mysterious reason so he decided to turn to the Ouija board for assistance. I told him I felt it was not a good idea, since I had read stories at the library about people who used the Ouija board and the disturbing things that happened to them. Continue reading

Like all living things, flowers and plants have unique personalities, wants and needs. Because they don’t speak, it is easy to overlook them. They have auras and have been shown to possess memories.

Not Everyone Chooses The Path Of Healing – Part 2
Being a Virgo, a healer and a seer, it can often times be very burdensome to remote view loved ones and see the terrible things going on in their lives, and not being able to go in and help them. Old Green Eyes – The Ghost of Chickamauga
The American Civil War was fought 150 years ago, yet people remain fascinated with its history. As it turns out, the battlefield said to be the most haunted is located right here in the South, not too far from where I live.
Chickamauga, on the border of Tennessee and Georgia, takes its name from a Native American word meaning “bloody river.” It was the second bloodiest battle of the war after Gettysburg, so the name turned out to be quite fitting.
Many ghosts, including those of a Confederate soldier and a bride-to-be pining for her lost fiancée, have been spotted at Chickamauga. But the most famous legend, “Old Green Eyes,” may not even be a traditional ghost at all. Legends surrounding the spirit go back to the Cherokee and Creek tribes who originally lived in the area. They tell of a large-bodied creature, or sometimes a floating head, with sharp fangs and glowing green eyes. Continue reading
