Romancing The Zodiac
For many years I wrote a weekly horoscope for a local newspaper. It was a fun and funky paper with a demographic core group of loyal readers aged 23 to 33, and a 70% female to 30% male readership.
The editor asked me what type of horoscope I thought the newspaper needed, given that the male readership ratio was so much smaller compared to that of women. I told her that we needed to do a horoscope for males and females of each sign. We needed to break down the walls between men and women, because the newspaper’s advice column seemed to suggest neither sex had a clue about what was going on in the others’ head.
My plan was to write the horoscopes combining elements of Astrology and Numerology, but the meat and potatoes, the predictions within each horoscope itself, would come from me using a different Tarot deck each week. I did an overview for the week ahead, one for males and one for females, in which lot of the astrological elements were taken into account. Elizabeth And Me
I’m running the sole of my foot over the top of her soft, furry coat – from the crown of her head, all the way down to where her tail begins. She arches and luxuriates in this gentle and soothing caress.
We have been sharing this deeply healing form of intimacy for nearly 14 years. Elizabeth was a Christmas gift from a dear friend. Since her puppy days, have never been apart for more than a few hours. Never for a night! Whether it be wood, stone, clay, molded bronze, copper, gold or any material that is totally solid and bonded – we are made of that. Our togetherness is my greatest pleasure. The Mysterious Man Who Followed Me
I kept seeing him. He would show up everywhere. I would be walking in the park and he would walk past me. Or I would be shopping at the supermarket, and he would appear between the isles… looking at me. He would appear to me walking on the sidewalk as I drove by. I even saw him the other day leaving the farmers market.
Do you ever experience seeing the same person over and over? You feel that they might be following you. It can get as creepy as feeling you have an actual stalker.
I finally realized who this person is just the other day, while talking with someone whom I haven’t seen in a long while. My friend shared with me that her boyfriend had died in a boating accident several months ago, while he was out fishing. Apparently she has also been seeing him. I never met him, but she had told him of me when he was still alive. He had known that I am a medium. Continue reading
Love Is The Glue That Binds Us
I have been asked many times by my clients, and those that know of my gifts, if the people they love are still able to connect with them after they transfer over to the spirit realm. My answer is always “of course!”
When you love someone there is a cord that connects you and that person for all of eternity. That love never goes away. It is always there and it is what makes it possible for us to connect in the dream state with those on the others side. We can connect with our loved ones in the weighted down material realm also, but in the astral realm or dream state it is so much easier. All we have to do is set an intention.
For example, before we go to sleep we may say, “I really want to connect with Grandpa tonight and have a conversation by way of telepathy.” Those of us that have had visitations are already well aware that when we communicate with our loved ones this way it is always through energetic thought transference, and not with actual speech. The communications is clear, fast and seems almost more real then communication in the physical, material realm. Continue reading
Her Husband Returned To Say ‘I Love You’
When someone we love dearly suddenly passes from an accident, or in some way they are taken too soon, they often return to say goodbye. They come back to tell us they love us one last time, before they go on to do whatever it is our souls do on the other side.
We are apparently given time to visit those we were not given the opportunity to say whatever we wished to before we cross over. I have found these afterlife visitations to be true through my own personal experiences, as well as that of friends, family and clients. One of my clients, a very sweet mother of two children, lost her husband suddenly in a motorcycle accident. She was never able to say that she loved him that day, before he left for work. You Can Never Say ‘I Love You’ Too Much
A dear client of mine always complained about her mother-in-law who constantly said, “I love you!” My client is not used to hearing this. Both her parents were alcoholics and never expressed much emotion towards her and her siblings.
One day she was on the phone talking to her mother-in-law and felt bad afterwards, because when she had passed the phone to her husband while she repeated over and over, in a mocking way and imitating her voice saying, “I love you, I love you, I love you…” When her husband spoke to his mother it was clear that she had overheard her daughter-in-law. She told him that she felt bad for saying “I love you” so much, but it was just that she missed them so much. She truly does love them unconditionally and apologized for maybe saying it too often. She felt she had offended her daughter-in-law in some way. Continue reading
Death Shall Never Part Us
You will hear people say, “I love you to death.” Or “until death do us part.” Or better yet, “I will love you until the day I die.” I have never been able to wrap my mind around this. Does the love you have for a special person in your life become non-existent after you die? Once we are dead it is over? Nothingness?
No, this I do not believe, because I know there is life after death. I have my own proof. My experiences with loved ones that have crossed over have shown me this. They have come back to very much look me square in the face and say, “I still love you.” There is life after death. Continue reading
