Life After Life (Part 7 of 7) – Continued Creation
It has been my experience that love is often the most universal message that people who have touched the other side bring back to us. That being said, even though love is the most important quality that we can express as human beings, there is also good reason to ally with love and forgiveness in our lives.
While we are on this planet our actions and contributions really do matter. As souls we are evolving and growing, and through this evolutionary process taking place on the soul level the planet too is in a process of evolution. Evolution is the creative dynamic that love creates.
In today’s final blog in this series I rely a bit on the esoteric traditions of spirituality that came before us, especially that of the Judeo-Christian and Jewish traditions. As I do so, I want to be clear that there are many traditions that express and say these same things in different ways. My personal background is in Christianity, and most of my formal teaching related to religion and spirituality stem from this tradition. Can Loved Ones Warn Us Of An Early Departure?
Many people believe that we come onto the planet at a particular time and arrive at a particular place of our own choosing. There are diverse theories as to the accuracy of this idea, but let us pretend for a minute that it is a spiritual truth. Would it not then follow that we also choose when we will leave this earthly plane and where we will leave it from?
If this is the case, would we not also know when we are preparing to leave? Do we know before our own moment arrives? We may have a loved one be away on a trip when a fatal accident occurs. That would certainly prevent us from having the opportunity of saying our final goodbye. Others might have a long lingering illness before finally succumbing, but at least those remaining behind could endeavor to prepare for the grieving process that inevitably will ensue. Asking Your Spirit Helpers To Help Solve Problems
Earlier this week, I called upon my spirit helpers to assist me in finding some direction. I needed some help with something which, although not yet urgent, has been niggling at me. I needed to find some information which I would require soon. Although there is information on the subject available online, I hadn’t been able to come up with anything useful to date, even after doing several searches.
So, two night ago, I asked my guides to point me in the right direction and sure enough, today, I did a random search, typing in keywords which literally ‘popped up’ from nowhere. These search terms brought up some useful information and contacts. I believe spirit delivered, and quickly!
When I invoke spirit’s help, I usually call upon my angels and guides individually, but this time, prior to going to sleep, I envisioned I was liaising with the same council of wise beings I recall being summoned to during a life threatening illness many years ago. At that point in my life there was a decision to be made in the presence of these wise souls, as to whether or not I was going to come back to this earth plane. I was on life support at the time. I guess the choice must have had something to do with completing a life contract in this world? Continue reading
Life After Life (Part 6 of 7) – Love
When it comes to near-death and shared-death experiences, they may have different qualities to them for different people. It is clear that the experiences we have in this life do influence the experience we have when we transition into the next.
I believe that the reason for these differing experiences is to make our transition into the next life as gentle and meaningful as possible. Spirit orchestrates the passing experience in such a way that it is as unique as the person that is transitioning.
There are some cultural and ancestral qualities that are fairly consistent in the individuals experiencing the transition. For example, if you have a specific religious icon that is meaningful to you, it is very likely that will be a part of your transition experience. Continue reading
Finding Healing In This Life, Or The Next
We often do not realize the myriad of ways in which each of us, in our own unique way, touch other souls on a daily basis. Often we do this with just a kind deed, word or physical touch.
Healing doesn’t have to be expressed in the laying on of hands. Just being in a person’s presence can, in itself, be a healing experience. Being a good listener, speaking or writing from your heart can be just the medicine another soul needs. Sending out healing in the form of good intention, or prayer and meditation has a strong healing vibration.
I just had a phone conversation with a close friend overseas, who reminded me of the aromatherapy and reflexology sessions she used to have with me. In those days our relationship was still of the customer-therapist variety. Gradually a friendship grew with both her and her family. I always set my intention to help customers to the best of my ability. In my aromatherapy and reflexology days, I used to ask for my guides’ input in choosing the best oils to assist with healing, or with a specific ailment. I believe that my guides’ input was as significant as mine, and perhaps, even more so. Continue reading
Strange Things In Strange Places
There are many places around the globe that often, for seemingly unexplained reasons, appear to have an amazing energy draw. One such township is in the beautiful setting of Fort Langley in British Columbia, Canada. People have been coming to this small area for many years and may be at a loss to explain why exactly they are compelled to visit this area time after time.
Aside from the fact there a number of antique shops and quaint stores in Fort Langley, there is also an air about the town that almost suggests a magic and a connection with times past, but not entirely forgotten. The town boasts many older Victorian homes and situated right on the main strip stands a majestic library that forces one’s eyes to be drawn in that direction as a matter of course. It was from this very handsome structure that a massive psychic fair was held each year by a spiritual, self-motivated entrepreneur. Continue reading
Life After Life (Part 5 of 7) – Mediumship
Mediumship is the term used for spirit communication and is distinctly related to connecting to the spiritual essence of loved ones that have passed on. Throughout history, this label has been relegated to specific individuals called mediums, and the primary source of messages come through channeling or other experiences. However, the practice of mediumship can also be an individual or private practice.
Spirit is the transcendent force that unites all things, and it is this interconnected nature that allows us to connect with God, angels, spirit guides, and even loved ones that have transitioned into the realm beyond. It is through this innate connection that authentic psychic mediums gather information and channel it for their clients.
