Romancing The Zodiac
For many years I wrote a weekly horoscope for a local newspaper. It was a fun and funky paper with a demographic core group of loyal readers aged 23 to 33, and a 70% female to 30% male readership.
The editor asked me what type of horoscope I thought the newspaper needed, given that the male readership ratio was so much smaller compared to that of women. I told her that we needed to do a horoscope for males and females of each sign. We needed to break down the walls between men and women, because the newspaper’s advice column seemed to suggest neither sex had a clue about what was going on in the others’ head.
My plan was to write the horoscopes combining elements of Astrology and Numerology, but the meat and potatoes, the predictions within each horoscope itself, would come from me using a different Tarot deck each week. I did an overview for the week ahead, one for males and one for females, in which lot of the astrological elements were taken into account. This was followed by a male and female horoscope for every sign of the Zodiac. Continue reading

Blue Deck Or Red Deck?
I use two playing card decks when I read: one blue and one red. Typically I let my clients choose the deck of cards they prefer me to use during a reading. My hand usually goes to the deck that my client will choose, before they even tell me.
Recently, I have been noticing that my spirit guide will have me choose another deck instead, after the client has already picked the other deck.
At these times my guide would say I need for you to pick another deck, because it is in their best interest for the future. Then I would pick up another deck and often the next chapter that will come in my client’s life will surface in the reading. Continue reading
Nobody Deserves To Be Happy!
Many self-help gurus will espouse the virtues, the sheer righteousness if you will, of deserving to be happy. You deserve to be happy? What does this truly even mean? (meant to be read in a most sarcastic tone of voice with a slight touch of incredulity thrown in for good measure).
I take umbrage, I cry foul to this so called deservedness. What makes you so special? For that matter, what makes me so special? None of us deserve to be happy any more so than the next guy or girl.
People, living breathing people, are being subjected to atrocities all over our planet in ways that some of us cannot even bear to think about, because we’d never sleep cozy in our beds at night if we did. Aren’t these people deserving of this ‘happiness’ also? They often times don’t experience it, because of someone else’s pursuit of happiness. Continue reading
Psychic Mariella at PsychicAccess.com
Mariella is a third generation psychic who started reading for others when she was only eleven. With a deck of ordinary playing cards, she gave accurate readings to her fellow schoolmates in the sixth grade. Her father, the nephew of a Cardinal, was set against her using psychic abilities her mom also possessed, and would not permit Mariella to follow in her metaphysical footsteps. Raised among a family of strong Catholics, Mariella had no choice but to hide her natural gifts and act as a good, obedient child. She pursued a career in finance and private law and graduated from the University of Roma, Italy, with a Masters in Business and Languages. In addition to her native Italian language, Mariella also became fluent in English, French and Spanish and speaks Portuguese as well as ancient Greek. Continue reading
