Make Your Own Magical Moon Water
The Moon, our closest celestial body, is strongly associated with the element of water. One way we can harness its powerful energy is by making moon water. Moon water is a powerful tool for energy cleansing and balance, and for strengthening spiritual connection.
The energy charging of moon water can be done at any time, but it is most ideal with the Full Moon. All you need is distilled or fresh water, a container, and a strong sense of intent.
Choosing the right container for your moon water is key. Think about what you plan to do with it: bathing, drinking, watering plants. If you are going to leave the container outside and overnight, consider a mesh or other permeable covering or lid so nothing except moonlight can get inside.
You can also include lunar affinity crystals, such as moonstone, clear quartz, or opal in the making of moon water. You can leave it in the container where it will receive an optimal amount of moonlight, then retrieve it in the morning.
Also, consider the astrological placement of the moon when making your moon water. For example, if you are setting an intention for extra insight and focus in your business or career, then a Full Moon in hardworking Capricorn is an ideal time to make some moon drinking water for the office.
As with any spiritual practice or manifesting ritual, stating your intentions clearly and firmly beforehand is vital. Remember to also extend gratitude to the Moon for her power and positive energies.
Astrology Forecast March 21 – 27, 2022
It’s time to refresh our perspective and create a plan of action as the season of spring begins (autumn in the southern hemisphere) and we experience a rebirth on all levels!
The week opens under a Scorpio Moon, which will give us an intense focus today and tomorrow, making this a good time to evaluate, reflect and restructure our plans for the future.
Beware the Scorpio Moon square Mars in Aquarius this morning, followed by an opposition to Uranus in Taurus. These two aspects may cause us to be impatient, moody, irritable and disagreeable.
Getting into an argument with your partner our spouse is more likely this morning, which may turn your day into a manic Monday, that may culminate in feeling depressed and miserable tonight under the Scorpio Moon square Saturn in Aquarius. Stay calm and grounded today, things will ease up by tomorrow!
A more light-hearted energy prevails on Wednesday and Thursday under the fair-minded and fun-loving Sagittarius Moon. Friday and Saturday’s Capricorn Moon indicates an ideal time to address financial and health issues, as we make a commitment to live more structured and nurturing lives.
Our thoughts will be inspired on Sunday as Mercury moves into the creative sign of Aries and the Moon dances into innovative and imaginative Aquarius!
All in all this week is a great start to the astrological new year, where we’ll get a third chance to dust off those resolutions and start taking actions that will move us closer to our ideals and dreams!
Astrology Forecast March 14 – 20, 2022
We’ll be closing out this final week of the astrological year with some self-focus and organization, by bringing some things to completion and attending to things we’ve been neglecting over the past few months.
The Moon will cruise through Leo on today and tomorrow, reminding us to practice more generosity to others, as well as ourselves. This is a good cycle for forgiveness and preparing to release anything that holds us back, before Friday’s Virgo Full Moon.
It may be necessary to take a deep breath and count to ten this afternoon, as the Leo Moon square Uranus in Taurus can cause people to be irritable, stubborn, moody, and even act a little outrageous.
During this time, people can be eccentric, headstrong, fanatic, over-the-top, irritable. It will not be a good time for getting into arguments with your significant other, as it could cause damage to the future of your relationship. Stay centered and grounded, and keep calm.
Wednesday and Thursday’s energies are ideal for regrouping, organizing our lives, and eliminating clutter on a physical level, as the Moon moves through Virgo. We’ll also be reminded that while having high ideals to move us forward, we need to also be more gentle and understanding of ourselves and others.
Once the Moon peaks full on Friday, we’ll enter a phase of release during which we can truly let go of the past and the hold it has on us. We’ll also take a breather later in the day, as the Moon moves into Libra and spends the weekend calling for a return to balance.
On Sunday the astrological new year is upon us, as the Sun moves into Aries, calling for a fresh start and a creative approach to life over the next four weeks.
Sun Salutation For Opening Your Heart Chakra
Many people have an energy blockage or imbalance with their heart chakra, because this is where we hold our emotional wounds.
The heart chakra is where we hold on to every insult or criticism from our childhood. The unbalanced heart chakra can store the energy of every rejection, anxious moment, humiliation, and fear from our teen years, as well as every break-up and every disappointment in our lifetime.
Heartbreak is a very real phenomenon. For example, sometimes when the life partner of an elderly person passes away, they will also pass from a heart attack soon after. It is tragic evidence of a disconnection of the life-long energy bond between two hearts.
Blockage in the heart chakra can also cause various health problems, including heart palpitations, irregular heartbeat, breathing problems, and problems with the thyroid, back, neck and shoulders.
The sun salutation is a choreographed set of yoga exercises that can be used to open the heart chakra and move energy throughout the entire body. Lifting your heart chakra pulls energy into the center.
Stand with your feet roughly one foot part, feet parallel. Tighten your buttocks and push your pelvis forward. Contract your abdominal muscles.
Reach your arms out to the side and slowly move them upward, as if you re scooping energy upward. Keep the arms perfectly straight, with elbows locked.
Bring your hands over your head into a prayer position, with the arms as straight as you can get them. Visualize that energy you scooped up pulsing between your hands. Then, keeping the hands connected in prayer, bring your hands down to your heart and feel that energy you ‘captured’ filling your heart chakra. Do this over and over as many times as you want.
Astrology Forecast March 7 – 13, 2022
Mercury joins the Sun in Pisces this week, adding to the spiritual, somewhat ethereal energy of this week.
Today will prove our most productive day under the Taurus Moon, so get as much out of the way as you can. The Moon will dance through Gemini Tuesday through Thursday, making us more prone to socializing and chatting mid-week.
The Taurus Moon sextile Jupiter in Pisces will bring us both social and financial success and have us feeling upbeat and confident, so this morning will be a good time to drum up some new business prospects.
The Pisces Sun sextile Moon in Taurus today will add to our sense of popularity and our ability to see eye-to-eye and successfully meet others halfway. This constellation lasts only a few hours, so strike the iron today while it is still hot, as the mood will shift towards insincerity, disharmony and even depression by the end of the day under the Taurus Moon square Saturn in Aquarius.
As Mercury moves into Pisces on Wednesday, most of our discussions will be centered on spirituality, the occult, and the supernatural.
Once the Moon exits Gemini and wades into Cancer, we’ll have two more days of watery energy on Friday and Saturday.
The fog will finally begin to lift on Sunday when the Moon moves into Aries and restores our energy and drive, though we may decide to channel that into restoring balance rather than charging out to run a marathon or paint the house!
Astrology Forecast February 28 – March 6, 2022
Expect the unexpected today and tomorrow, as the Moon travels through Aquarius and shifts our focus with new information or last minute changes in plans. Don’t fight the obstacles or revisions, as they are designed to serve our best interest.
Being patient and calm may be a tough call this morning under the Aquarius Moon square Uranus in Taurus, which may tempt us to be stubborn, irritable, and unpredictable. Take care not to give in to a capricious mindset or melodramatic mood.
Thankfully, the atmosphere will improve markedly with the Moon conjunction Mercury in Aquarius towards the end of the day, which will see us more mentally alert, focused and acting sensibly.
The Pisces New Moon and two planetary transits add an interesting tone to the week that highlights the spiritual and innovative aspects of our personality.
Wednesday’s Pisces New Moon heralds in a cycle of spiritual renewal over the next two weeks, revealing the reason for past delays, disappointments, or reversals. Think of this as an ‘aha’ phase, where everything will finally begin to make sense!
Getting things done is always easier under a fire sign Moon, so capitalize on Friday and Saturday’s Aries Moon to make things happen.
You may want to take things easy on Sunday as the Moon moves into Taurus and Venus and Mars enter the electric sign of Aquarius. Venus in Aquarius will inspire us to think outside the box over the next six weeks, while Mars in the same sign could create some unpredictable movement or inspire new paths to follow. Either way, with both these planets in the sign of friendship, we’ll have more than enough support and backing to move us forward into a brighter future.
Transmuting Enemy Energy
Some clients ask for readings about people they think of as their enemies, and I’ve seen certain commonalities with this over the years. In these relationships there are typically an energy pattern that has formed to create a dynamic of mistrust, tension, and resentment.
One of the most prevalent issues I have noticed in terms of long-standing resentment or hatred towards another, is that both parties usually consider themselves the ‘victim,’ and that the other person is always in their mind the one who is in the wrong.
When you take it a level deeper, you usually find there was an initial intense or significant energy when these two people first met – be it a lover, friend, or work associate. It is usually a conflicting energy that sets the tone for their future ‘vibe’ with each other.
This initial energy has a resistance to it and eventually takes on a life of its own, separate from the two conflicting parties. Peel away the layers of this ‘enemy energy demon’ and you come to find it is essentially comprised of nothing more than simple fear.
Also, this enemy demon resists the idea of resolution and will not accept its own demise. It will do whatever it can to stay alive, and it feeds off the emotions anger, fear, and sadness. I believe this is what may be responsible for some suicides, violence, acts of terrorism, mass corruption, and others evil we see in the world.
There is never an excuse for violence. If someone is attacking or harming another person, safety and protection come first. Recovering from trauma is not typically something that happens quickly. However, when we are better informed about what is behind the behavior patterns of those who hate us, we can better see to the root of the disease.
