A Visit From Ken
When I was 21, I moved eight hours away from my home town. I left behind friends, family and a dance company I owned. It was a difficult decision, but I knew it was time to move to Los Angeles to become a performer.
One month after I moved, I received a phone call from my ex-boyfriend, Ron. Ron told me his uncle Ken had passed. I was horrified. I had not said goodbye to him and had not spoken to him since I moved.
I loved Ken. He was into reincarnation and metaphysics. We had many conversations about what happens when you cross over and what the afterlife was all about. We had read many of the same books and had the same philosophy of what the other side was like. I remember Ken’s great salads and dinners, and how he had really tried to make a family atmosphere for Ron and his little brother after he had adopted them. You Are Meant To Be Here
Lately, I have been hearing cries for help from some clients who say things like: “I really don’t want to be here anymore, and I won’t even be missed if I’m gone”. In my experience this sense of hopelessness amongst people has intensified this past year.
Some 18 years ago I was very ill, and from this traumatic time in my life I came to realize that we do plan our lives before we incarnate. I vividly recall one out-of-body experience during an unconscious period of my hospital stay. There I sat with a counsel of wise beings who told me I still had work to do, and it somehow all made sense to complete the lessons this time, even though, quite frankly I really did not want to be here either! So, based on some profound spiritual experiences, and well as past life regression, I do believe we have a ‘pre-birth plan’. Embrace Your Soul Family
We are all connected. We always meet up with people in our lives that are kindred spirits. We all know that feeling that comes over you; that familiarity that makes you stop in your tracks and think, “Wow I know that person from somewhere, but can’t place where I have met them.”
We haven’t met them in this incarnation, but in past lives.
We know these souls from our past, because they are in our cell memory. There is still unfinished business to be completed. That is why we are meeting up with similar souls that we have known in our past lives, be it here or in another world. Do We Choose Our Parents Before Birth?
I am often asked if I believe in reincarnation and clients sometimes want to know about their past lives. I was not always sure until I had a very vivid dream one night. I often receive answers in this way.
In this dream I felt like I was floating and searching. It seemed like I was hitting many areas of the world. I was looking for someone. But for who, or what? How could this make any sense?
I even heard my name, Raymond, in this dream. I recognized my mom’s voice. I also heard someone talking to me as if to guide me, but the voice sounded like I was under water and I could not follow the language. Continue reading
Not A People Person Or Pleaser, And It’s Okay!
I have had clients tell me that they feel something is wrong with them, because they don’t like to be around people. They prefer solitude. Others feel disconnected when around people, or it makes them feel smothered. People make them feel drained, or they feel out of their element.

Our Past Lives, Ourselves
In tandem with the concept of free will there is the idea of past lives and how they intertwine with karma. In Sanskrit, the word karma means “action.” Every one of our actions has a meaning which ripples through our very fabric.
Some of us may know about one or more of our past life already. Others may have only experienced bits and pieces: images seen in a dream, or inexplicable patterns that emerge in our lives. We may wonder why we always seem to be unlucky in love or needing a challenge at work. Every lifetime we get is the universe trying to teach us. What we perceive as hardship or bad luck is really a learning opportunity!
