Let us suppose that we all come to this earthly plane with a suitcase full of gifts, talents and abilities. If we can find ourselves able to subscribe to this belief, what would be our next inkling?
First of all, what happens to this suitcase? Do we open it ourselves, wait for someone to come along and give us the combination that will release the contents, or perhaps we might just set it aside for future use?

The Ancient Art Of Possum Bone Casting
I have spent some time exploring ancient forms of divination. It made me realize one can use just about anything, from bones to rocks, or even animal intestines – anything that may be handy at the time.
A few years back a friend of mine moved from Maine to New Orleans. We are connected on Facebook, so I decided to contact her to see how she liked living in New Orleans, and what she was doing for work. Much to my surprise she said, “I’m doing bone readings in the French Quarter of the city.” Well, that certainly peaked my interest.
I have since began studying the art of bone casting. As with anything, I found lots of ideas and several different opinions on the matter. Using my own intuition, I settled on learning to read possum bones. They are said to be the real deal, but I have never seen a possum in the state of Maine (even though I’m sure possum is here.) Intuition, Psychic Ability And Mediumship
Throughout time mankind has explored the ability to communicate with the gods, with nature, or with each other on a non-verbal level. It is extremely common for us to use the term intuitive. these days. It is often the explanation given by many an entrepreneur or successful decision-maker: “I just trusted my gut,” or “What I love about Mary is she is just so intuitive and makes the right decisions.”
The term psychic on the other hand, although nowadays often well known within a household, conjures up for so many outside the metaphysical community feelings of distrust, fake, absurd, not possible. Perhaps these attributes are attached because of our personal belief system that does not value or agree with the skill set. This also can impact our personal relationships if we know it is real and others judge us since we may then hide our abilities as being psychic and connected with the unseen realm or worse shut down and not continue developing them. A Feeling Better Breakthrough
As a spiritual counselor I have found that one of the most effective ways for me to channel for my clients, as well as bring in the good in my own life, is by recognizing and trusting my feelings. The best way to explain this is when we feel good we are really ‘feeling God’ – the creative or Divine spiritual essence of our nature.
Every human being on this planet has a spirit. This is sometimes called the Higher Self or Holy Spirit. It is this spirit that is each human’s ability to create a life filled with joy and ease. If we are feeling fearful, stressed, or challenged it is often the result of being in some way disconnected to this spiritual self.
In truth, no one can ever really be separated from their spirit, but we can sometimes forget about our spiritual core. When this occurs, it means that we need a breakthrough. We need to remember our spiritual center. The best way we can do this is simply feel better. Continue reading
Gracious Silence Protects You From A Lack Of Grace
God gives us moments in life where we are called to rise up, and be and do certain things we would otherwise not do spontaneously or willingly. Yet, we go and do out of obligation, to avoid negative repercussions, negative feedback from family, or just all around negative domino effects in some way, shape or form.
My fellow intuitive will know what I’m talking about here. It’s that feeling that comes to us to warn us, to tap us on the shoulder to say something like, “Hey, be careful, your going to need to set up a psychic shield. Negative energy is afoot!” It’s that inner knowing. Continue reading

People long to be acknowledged, and from my experience this is something people in many parts of the world are missing, as we all rush from place to place. The inhabitants of a modern day home tend to become like passing ships in the night to their loved ones, and hardly communicate with one another.

Angels Nearby
Ever felt a reassuring hand on your shoulder, heard your name whispered, or experienced a deep sense of love and warmth, only to turn around and see no one? That’s unmistakably the sign that an angel is nearby. Our protective angels let us know they are there… if we take the time to look.
Our angelic guardians, who see all the things we do not, want us to notice the beauty around us! Take a moment away from work, put away the electronic devices, and really observe…there is so much you probably never saw before.
One of the first and most obvious places to look is the skies. Clouds, to be specific. Finding shapes like wings, hearts, or halos in the otherwise random cloud formations is a sure sign of angelic presence. Animal shapes might appear too – some angels walk on four legs! Continue reading
