The Fear Of Here

A channeled message from the angels:

“One of the things that can block you dear one is the ‘fear of here’ – your inability to be in the present moment. Instead of being in the here and now, part of your consciousness runs off.  This is because you have thoughts that are stuck in past events. When this occurs part of your consciousness runs off to be somewhere else. That part of your mind relives the negative experience repeatedly.

It is like a hamster on a wheel, cycling through the same details but never really going anywhere. Often these repetitions are not even the whole truth of what happened in your life.  Instead, they first come through your perception and then become manipulated and twisted through your fear and your sense of victimhood.

You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land; there is no other life but this ~ Henry David Thoreau

At one point in time you had challenging experience and you interpreted it as a message that we never gave you. This message was that you were a victim. It is true that at that time you felt powerless. However, you were not, nor have you ever been powerless. You are certainly not powerless now!

You have taken on this feeling of powerlessness and adopted the label that was never really your label: victim. Believing that you are a victim automatically causes you to feel powerless, but the truth is that you are limitless in your ability to create.  You’ve never stopped creating and you never will stop creating.  This is what it means to be created in the image and likeness of your creator.

When this part of your consciousness runs the wheel of victimhood it always seeks evidence of victimization. If you are on that wheel, that evidence will circle back around again and again in various different ways. It will influence the relationship with your family, friends, and even your most intimate encounters.

Each time you gain more evidence for your own victimization you are only gaining evidence against the love that is available to you always. Instead of seeking evidence that you live in a safe and supportive Universe, you are arguing against the creative power of Love.

It has been written, “Judge not lest you be judged.” This does not mean that we judge you, nor does it means that there is some sort of vindictive deity or force within the Universe that is judging you, although some have interpreted it this way. We ask you to release your judgments, because love is a much more palatable experience for you dear one.

Unless you are willing to release your judgments, you will always feel judged. You are backing yourself up into a corner victimized by your own mind. Love is letting go of the pain of your past and giving up the judgment you hold against any other. A victim always requires a victimizer and to label one as such is a self-made prison of judgment that can only return further heartache.

The problem that we have with a victim mentality is that we forget to see the blessings of the day. Because of this, our spirit is poisoned instead of nourished ~ Steve Maraboli

The Universal Law of Love cannot hold judgment, and therefore relinquishes the need to be a victim. Therefore, we have said in many ways and in many traditions, that the only true path to freedom is forgiveness. Forgiveness is not about the action of others, it is about releasing the need to judge them. Forgiveness is about setting yourself free and giving up your need to criticize yourself and your fellows.

You have seen how much pain can be experienced through holding the label of victim and putting your pain on replay. Today, you have the power to create a whole new reality by allowing your fellow to be innocent. Not innocent of deed, but innocent of your projection of guilt.

Understand dear one, that you too have always been an innocent child of Divine Love. You have the choice to relinquish the label of victim to us and we will replace it with the label of innocent child. Then you will see the evidence of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control.
