Candle Divination
Certain rituals or daily actions can sometimes trigger a powerful memory. This just occurred as I was lighting some candles in my work area. The lighting of the candles prompted me to look for some notes I had tucked away relating to the flame of a candle, because for some reason my lit candles seemed to be demanding my attention.
Reading the notes took me back to a psychic awareness event I attended many years ago. A colorful lady, who made and sold her beautiful candles, gave an engaging talk at this get-together. She was passionate about the symbolism of the movement of the candle flame. She reminded her audience that as spirit affects the atmosphere around us, with anything from a gentle breeze to an icy chill in the air, they often also communicate with us by influencing the flame of a candle. Living Under The Mushroom?
Are you living under the mushroom? This is not necessarily a bad thing, depending what your expectations are. In order to live in the Light we must make an effort of some kind to come out from under the mushroom. Nothing much grows in the shadows.
Living in the Light? What does that mean? Does it mean we will no longer gossip about the neighbors, focus less on the negative aspects of life, stop finding fault with others, and never expect bad things to happen to us? Probably not.

Understanding the concept of prosperity is just as important as pursuing prosperity. In the past several years I have had the opportunity to speak to some very wealthy clients. In discussing various topics with these individuals it is very clear that prosperity has nothing to do with the amount of wealth someone holds. The concept of a vision board as a tool to manifest your desires is simple. Since most of us tend to get distracted very easily, the board is a constant reminder of what we want and the steps we need to take toward our goals.
In short, a vision board is a visual reminder of our hopes and dreams, along with affirming words or sayings. Like people, no two are the same, and you don’t have to spend a fortune to make one for the New Year.
When making your personal board, it’s best to be as specific as possible. For example, almost everyone might say: “I wish to be successful in life!” But really read between the lines. Is this a promotion at work? A better relationship with friends or family? Choose pictures or words that represent exactly what you want.
